First set the main lever to start

Use the Starting Air Manifold valve and max it out

Use the Throttle Lever and max it out

Look out for the Tacho, so the Throttle lever should now get back to 0 at prox.
65-70 rpm

As the Throttle lever sets back to 0, now set the main lever to Operate

Last but not least, set the throttle lever to your prefered pos and keep an eye on the RPM gauges. You can now close the Staring Air Manifold valve.

note: to reverse, simply throttle down to 0 and set the main lever to stop. Then set the starting air manifold to full and set the main lever to reverse and give full throttle again. The Throttle will then go to 0 again but you go reverse ;)
