Guide
Like many UE3 titles, Damnation ships with a 60fps lock due to "frame rate smoothing". This may cause screen tearing issues for people playing without V-sync.

In order to uncap the frame rate, first launch the game at least once to create the config directory, then navigate to it at
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Damnation\DamnGame\Config
and open up
DamnEngine.ini
with a text editor.

Search (CTRL + F) for
bSmoothFrameRate
and set this value to FALSE so that you get
bSmoothFrameRate=FALSE

Now save and close the file and there you go. Enjoy buttery smooth Damnation.

Yeah, didn't experience any problems with 120 and finished the game without issues.

yeah it works good. However I've experienced quite a problems when I've set framerate to 280(as my monitor's) and had big issues with climbings. After I set limit to 120 climbing works like a charm again

Thanks. Below, there are "smooth framerate" limits. So you can use these instead of "false" value. Now running at 120 FPS locked. Hope it won't break some physics later in the game as unlocked framerate sometimes does.
