EFE UT-440

RENFE Serie 440, built by CAF from 1974 to 1985, later sold to EFE in 1996, 1997 and 2005. Introduced in 1997, a total of 20 units were purchased for use in Chile, 3 were later modified in Chile and 4 in Spain. They are currently used in the Estacion Central-Rancagua (Metrotren Rancagua), Talcahuano-Laja (Corto Laja) and Biotren services, and the Puerto-Limache (Metro Valparaiso) service in the past.
