Introduction You see comrade, i have seen many players in this game... Some did well and other screwed up constantly... This isnt a rant, just a simple help for new players. I dont want you to play like i say, you need to find your own style, which leads to victory. Hopefully... Until you found your style, you are free to use my Guide as help. Maybe the pros can learn something too... Nuff said, lets start. Difficulties Introduction levels: -Play them how you like, you can hardly loose Normal: -Its hard to screw up. But its possible, especially if you have to fight a mech or chopper. -You can hardly loose if you have at least one medic. if he knows his job of course -.- -Basically you can play how you like Hardened: -ONE MEDIC IS REQUIRED, but sometimes not enough. 2 Medics are recommended -This can get ugly if people dont know their jobs. I have been in parties, which died after the first 10 steps... keep an eye on the mg-turret dudes, they can ruin your game... Veteran/Hardcore: -TWO MEDICS ARE REQUIRED, one can do the job. this one should be good then... -Slow and steady wins the race. -Make sure your team knows its job. ---TEAM DAMAGE IS ACTIVATED---BE CAREFUL--- Classes Sniper: -kill all enemies <--- THIS IS YOUR JOB. you cant do ♥♥♥♥ for your team, so kill well... -You have the longest range and best precision in your team. Clear rooftops and mg turrets. -You are the last one in the team. Clean up the enemies that flank your group. A high postion is good for you. -Never run ahead. No matter how MLG PRO 1337 quickscope b0ZZ you think you are, the enemies can down you with a few shots, especially on higher difficulties... Rifleman: -gib ammo <--- THIS IS YOUR JOB (press 5) (you can see the left ammo of your allies, by pointing your crosshair at one) (left click to gib some to your ally, right click for you) -FRONTLINE DUTY dont stay behind your team... you are number one... the front killer... -Get a MG, it has loads of ammo left and a giant mag... Medic: -gib health <--- THIS IS YOUR JOB (press 5) (you can see the health of your allies, by pointing your crosshair at one) (left click to gib some to your ally, right click for you) -revive <--- THIS IS ALSO YOUR JOB (press 5 2x if you have your weapon or press 5 once if you have your medkit) (YOU HAVE 15 SECONDS TO REACH AND REVIVE YOUR ALLY.) (You need 100/100 charge on your defibrillator to revive and ally.) (Revived allies have only 50% health instead of 100%) -Your shotgun is a mighty tool, it lacks range but most enemies will down after a single shot. -You got a handgun, just sayin... Its not a sniper but close to it. -You dont have a fixed postion, but STAY AWAY FROM THE FRONTLINE, especially during harder missions... -You are the most imortant member of the team A_KILLER_GOOSE 29 Jul here a tip for the medic if there are 2 downed team m8 and there any class but med tell one to use a coin and res the auther 1 medic cant res 2 team m8 at the same time it take 15sec to full recharge the default defibs i know this from experience i play medic on capture, ptb and pve Engineer: -gib armor <--- THIS IS YOUR JOB (press 5) (you can see the armor of your allies, by pointing your crosshair at one) (left click to gib some to your ally, right click for you) -Armor is not a replacement for health, but a full armor can prevent serious injuries, espceially if your medic is down -YOU ARE RIGHT BEHIND THE RIFLEMAN. Kill the shield dudes if they attack your ally in front of you. Apart of that, kill all enemies that run up to your team, like shotgun dudes. You are some kind of savior. Some extra notes Rifleman: -empty both guns before refilling your own ammo, this can save lives, especially during survival/wave missions -your rifle has limited snipe abillities, use them Engineer: -bro, dont try to snipe with your smg... the time you need to kill an enemy, can be used better... Medic: -another medic in your team has the highest priority, revive him first, he can take care of the other dead teammate. (brain required) -you can damage the heavy trooper with your defibrillator. Alll directions on normal, on higher difficulties only at the back Sniper: - no team needs a 2nd sniper. change to medic if you join a team which already has a sniper Mechboss: -on normal, all weapons can damage the window in front of the mech. -you can always use your regular weapons to hit the blue energy spot on its top, you dont need a missile Mg-Dudes -flank them. -the sniper is their natural enemy, he needs to stay at a good postion, the rest of the team needs to advance. they will force the mg to turn and open the unprotected side... then... the sniper will strike... -or use your grenades... sometimes the mg dude will leave his mg to dodge the grenade... strike now... -you can also use smoke greandes to cover your movement or flanking maneuver Weapon Mods You see comrade, modding your weapon is important. Scopes and sights for a better view. Muzzle breaks for more damage and velocity. Grips and bipods for more stability, recoil control. A bayonet for stabbing dem noobz. Never attach a silencer unless a side mission asks for it. Stealth is nonexistent in COOP and you loose a lot of damage the farther away the enemy... Avoid Greenies... I know it sounds mean, but some Greenies should be ignored... 9/10 dont drop ammo/health/armor or revive. Run ahead and die. Try to be cool and rambo their way through the mission... I dont say leave the lobby as soon as you see one! There are Greenies who do well and contribute to the teams effort! You can only judge people by seeing them ingame! Let the Greenies play with themselves... thats where they can make mistakes and learn from them. The higher level players are usually faster than the new players, so the new players would slow down the team to some extend... Commonly seen in normal missions, one Greenie can be carried easily through the mission. But more, who need to be carried ofc, are a major problem... They are rare on hardened missions and tend to know their stuff in this mode. Keep in mind, that there are also high level players who have no idea what is going on. Ignore these aswell... Trolls, hacks and their freinds There is an ingame reporting feature. Just click on report player, then the name. Choose a reason and add a description. You can also use the votekick feature. Just click on vote kick, then on the players name Keep in mind, one disagreement can cancel the whole vote. Final words You see comrade... I made this as a guideline, not as a strict rule. You can use my tips as help and recommendation. If you find any grammar mistakes, ignore them, they are features not bugs :P If you have any suggestion for my guide, please tell me, i will add them and give credits to you Have fun playing this game
