Payne's soda fountain

Payne's Sandwich Shop and Soda Fountain was originally a drug store, which was founded by W.F. Payne in 1869. In 1891, the business moved to its current location in Scottsboro, Alabama. Once the soda fountain was added, it became a popular hangout.

In 1991, the pharmacy part of the store closed, and instead became a full time restaurant. Completely in theme with the 1950's like you'd except from a vintage soda shop, they sometimes play jukebox music during lunch hours.
