EMD F40PH Amtrak

Amtrak was formed on May 1, 1971 to take over passenger services from private railroads across the US due to decline in service. Amtrak provides medium and long-distance intercity service in the contiguous United States and to nine Canadian cities. This train is modeled after the Phase one livery on former Union Pacific EMD E8 locomotives. The passenger cars used are Budd and Pullman passenger cars in Phase 1 Amtrak paint schemes that back in the day would be pulled on trains such as the California Zephyr and Super Chief.

imported with a prototype mod to reduce the texture compression in game so the file size is large

Train functions as a regular passenger train but due to its length some additional consideration might be needed when setting up passenger stations for it. Consult the "How to use very long passenger trains, building station complex" by REV0
