Wario, the diabolical doppelganger, barges his way into Rivals of Aether! Using attacks like his trusty Shoulder Bash, Ground Pound, Wario Waft and Piledriver, he's sure to show the competition who's boss!

Overview:
In Rivals, Wario has decided to use a mix of attacks based on Super Smash Bros. and the Wario Land series. He's a hard-hitting heavyweight with quick air mobility, able string together combos both on the ground and in the air and finish off enemies with his strong KO moves. Wario doesn't have too much range, and some of his more powerful moves come out comparatively slow, but he trades these traits for raw power.


Neutral Special - Bull Hat Hammer

The last time Wario donned this stylish metal cap was all the way back in 1995, but today, he took it out of the wardrobe and put it to use once again! With this steel-plated helmet on, Wario throws his head forward in an armored arc to slam his hard head against anybody around him. Slow to start, but devastating on impact!


Forward Special - Shoulder Bash

It wouldn't be the same Wario if he didn't bring his nasty dash attack in tow! It's the same hard-hitting tackle we all know and love; Wario dashes forward, shoulder first, and runs down whoever stands in front of him. If he starts running from the ground, he can even jump while using it!

Up Special - Piledriver

Wario combines the Corkscrew from Super Smash Bros. with a familiar attack first used in Wario World! Performing the same upward twist of the Corkscrew attack, and grabs whoever approaches him, dragging them back down in a head-spinning suplex that's sure to leave anybody with a headache. If he's feeling extra disrespectful, he can even drag his enemies off stage for a double-KO!

Down Special - Wario Waft

And of course, a move improvised for his appearances in the Super Smash Bros. series that had such an impact, it made its way into his arsenal for Rivals of Aether: the infamous Wario Waft! Over the course of battle, Wario lets his metabolism charge a bowel blast that stems from his love for garlic and general apathy towards his outward image. This fatal fart takes about a minute and a half to charge, but according to Wario, landing the Bull Hat Hammer can get his gut to work about a second faster than schedule each time it's landed. We don't know exactly why this is the case, but... it gets the job done, I suppose?
