This is a complete and full guide on all rare star patterns or seed paints for Glock-18 | Moonrise. There will also be an explanation of what patterns or paint seeds are. This guide will not show an indication of pricing.

Some skins have different variations that make individual items of the same skin look different. A pattern index (a number between 0 - 999) decides which part of the pattern template is going to show on the skin. This is known as a paint seed. The paint seed thus decides which pattern is going to be on the skin.

This means that if you find a paint seed that is considered to be rare, you will find the rare pattern on the skin. These rare paint seeds for the Glock-18 | Moonrise star pattern are displayed in the next section of this guide.

Keep in mind that the paint seed is independent of the wear of the skin, meaning you will find the star on any wear from Battle-Scarred to Factory New, with any of the pattern seeds listed below.

The star is cut off on the left making it a less desirable star pattern.

These paint seeds include: 137, 268, 448, 744, 769, 986

The star is slightly cut off on the right, but more of the star is visible than on the 3rd tier pattern, making this more desirable than pattern tier 3.

These seed paints include: 31, 38, 95, 121, 281, 355, 385, 617, 630, 667, 737, 913

For tier 1 patterns there are 2 patterns that have the whole star visible.

The first pattern having the whole star included, but slightly to the left:

The second pattern having the whole star included, but slightly to the right:

These patterns include: 58, 59, 66, 90, 102, 224, 484, 601, 628, 694, 706, 837, 864

By using CSFloat[chromewebstore.google.com] or Steam Inventory Helper[chromewebstore.google.com], both Google Chrome extensions, you are able to find paint seeds easily as the extensions provide full information about the skin, including it's paint seed. By using either CTRL + F, or comparing the seed list with the patterns manually, you can easily find a rare star pattern.


In this example, I was able to find a star pattern easily by utilising the Steam Inventory Helper Browser Extension.
