Custom icon
Go to you steam library and right-click on Facerig > manage > browse local files.
Then go to Mod > VP > PC_CustomData > Objects. Your avatar's files should be in here.

Open your avatar's file and add the PNG you want to be your icon.

Name the PNG "ico_CharacterName" where 'CharacterName' is the name of your avatar file and the .moc file inside. (So if your file is named "Johnny" The PNG should be called "ico_Johnny".)

Make sure the PNG is square-shaped.

The next time you start Facerig, your custom icon should show up.

Custom description
Make a .txt file on your desktop.

Write " set_friendly_name CharacterName 'CharacterName' " on one line, and "set_avatar_skin_description CharacterName default 'Description.' " on another, pictured here.

(Note that all instances of "CharacterName" in this guide should be the name of your avatar's file. Also write your custom description in place of "Description" as shown in the image.)

Go to File > Save as. Name it "cc_names_CharacterName.cfg" and save it as 'all files'. Put it on your desktop for now.

It should now be converted to a .cfg file. If it is, put it in the avatar folder in Objects together with the icon.

The next time you open Facerig your custom description should appear.
