Beskrivning
Full Moon adds an ability to allow heroes with the Tree, Fire, Wolf, Crow, or Gem theme to instantly complete their transformations in combat!

This mod adds the Waxingsoul ability (which is actually 5 different abilities but don't tell anyone). Once acquired, it allows heroes with the Tree, Fire, Wolf, Crow, and Gem transformations to use a combat ability which will apply all pieces of their theme at once, with all the benefits and drawbacks that brings. Using Waxingsoul applies a small debuff for every combat turn they stay transformed (-0.1 potency, speed, and bonus damage per turn). While transformed, heroes can use the Waningsoul ability to revert back to their old form, and will automatically transform back after combat.

replaces my artifact greatsword with a regular one-handed sword, unfortunately. but i still prefer it over the "transformed hands can still hold weapons mod" bc it doesn't break the realism for me (wolves don't have opposable thumbs, so how can they hold weapons?).

Thanks for letting me know. Latest update should fix abilities not persisting through legacy.

I love this as an alternative to transformations using weapons. However, I tried it with a Legacy character and they don't seem to have the Waxingsoul ability. Perhaps the new patch has broken the mod?

Well besides the wrong weapons swapping I guess I misunderstood the reason for the mod. I wanted to be able to transform with only the parts I have gotten and then be able to switch back without losing any weapons. I don't take any transforms in the game since it destroys artifact weapons or whatever and I find it frustrating. I just wanted a Free swap in and out of the only transform I had learned to that point...

All good really, I'll just continue to annoy my wife by NOT doing any transforms.. lol :)

Thanks for the feedback.

If it was given for free to every hero with a theme, there would be no reason to take vanilla theme progressions. Waxingsoul functions as an alternative to progressing your theme, but not a strictly better option that makes vanilla theme progression obsolete.

The weapon switching can be a bit finicky, how did they change? Was it bow to crossbow or greatsword to sword like is intended when you lose an arm in vanilla, or was it something random? And how did she switch back, was it the manual ability or the automatic post-combat transformation? Did anything else happen between transforming and switching back like a death choice or a new transformation or something?

Couple points of note :

IMHO this skill should NOT take a level-up skill point. Should be granted with a transformation.

My wife got a Gem Transform in her eye and used the skill and gained ALL of the transforms for FREE!

Also when she switched back her weapons were NOT what she had on previously.

I think we'll restart and remove the mod for now! :(

Apologies for the delay in comment there, but i found out it seemed to be some weird confliction with another mod actually, haha. It worked fine after i did a clean save and ticked it off(It was apparently the mod that gives the wolf torso as a transformation proper)
