How to reliably Guardbreak/Jump Attack with KB+M
By Sorez
After messing with KB+M, I've noticed that uin the mouse for Gaurdbreak and Jump attacks is extremely hard to pull off. So if you mainly use mouse to attack, I have a solution of using the keyboard button version of the attacks, which make it easier to do them.

What You Need To Do
Just like in Dark Souls 1, you need to tap W slightly if you ever want to do either of these.

Simply press the Left Hand Attack button thats binded to the keyboard while tapping W, to do the guardbreak. The same with the Strong Attack for the jump attack.

It seems using the mouse for these is extremely hard, but when you dedicate the two keyboard buttons for these two moves, it's much easier.

I also recommend rebinding these two controls to somewhere more comfortable for you. For me, it's C and X (Put Auto-Dash in the far side of the keyboard as I find it useless)
Hope This Helped!
I hope this short guide helped. For me, I am doing guardbreaks and kicks consistently when pressing the keyboard versions of the two attacks, and I hope you manage to do that aswell!

I stopped using the mouse to attack months ago. I don't have a USB controller, but I never planned on getting one because I've used KB+M for so long. But the input lag on mouse attacks was just too much for me after a certain point.

hotkeys bound to mouse is a good idea. but I think fo rthis game I am going to stick with the dualshock 3 controller. This game is not that fast paced that you really need the speed and accuraccy of MKB. Good tip though.

Autohotkey makes your mouse binds fast & furious :D

Yeaah, not everyone can afford Razer stuff, and I like using my mouse :P

Purchase a Razer keyboard, rebind NUMPAD keys to letter keys, and then play keyboard only. Problem solved.

Yes, but for people who don't want to mess around with auto hotkey programs and such, this is a good way to solve it ^^

You can also run auto hotkey and bind the combination to a single key and either assign it to a alt mouse key or a key on the keyboard. IE it presses both at the same time using 1 key.

This is all caused by the game reading a delay on mouse input and keyboard input that puts them out of sync.
