Buck shot for assault is also energy based, for another option if useful.

You need to surpress them, then once they are in surpressed status, use any kind of energy attack, think of energy ammo clip, a strike-vi sniper, the assault's energy blade, etc.

Just go into a solo normal game, bring an assault with a gar and strike-vi, find some brutes or fat zombies, then shoot with gar (you could also bring smoke or flash grenade to add suppresion) till surpressed and then hit with your energy attack.

e.g 5000 energy use in one deployment, 3x Stun, 3x Primary missions complete etc.
