What is Transport INC?
Transport INC is a single-player transport business simulator. In the game, you must manage a variety of different routes carrying passengers and cargo. Buy new vehicles, hire managers, and expand your operations, and someday your empire may look like this:
Start location
Assuming you're playing on freeplay mode you can play in five different regions:
United States
Europe
Russia
China
Australia

For the purposes of simplicity we will be starting in Europe. What country you pick determines if you will succeed or fail. Larger countries have more medium/large cities and generally more cargo demand so they are easy to play in. Smaller countries usually have only small cities and are not the best places to start.
I picked Ukraine because it is decently large, has quite a few medium and large cities, and plenty of cargo demand.
Your first bus
Let's make a bus route to earn us some money.

Routes

Routes are very easy to set up. The first thing you do is click on any two cities (preferably two that are not too far or not too close). Then, go to the market and buy a bus. I picked the 36-pax low-grade bus as an example. Drag it onto the route, and it'll start making money.

Depots and managers

If you want your bus to keep earning you money, you'll need to keep it in good shape. Neglecting repairs for your vehicles will make them break down, and no one wants that. So, click on one of your cities to buy a depot.
You can also hire managers who will repair vehicles for you. Simply go to the manager tab and click on the setup button. It does cost money but it is sure better than having broken down vehicles!
More vehicles, more money
You will probably have some cash left over and/or have earned some from your bus, so why not make another route?

Setting it up

Follow the same steps you did for your first to get your second. Click on two different cities to make your second route. It can use one of the cities from your first. Oh, and did I forget to mention that you need to have demand in order to make a route?
Tip: Add your second bus to the manager so it'll be repaired just like the first.

Salaries and expenses

Your drivers need to be paid well. Otherwise, they could go on strike and refuse to transport passengers or cargo. If your drivers are unhappy, the driver tab will flash orange.
Increase the salaries until a green smiley face shows up next to it. Changes will not be applied until the next month.

While we're on the topic, expenses are something to keep in check. Too much and your company could end up going bankrupt! Expenses include:
Manager payments
Depot fees
Depot upkeep
Buying/repairing vehicles
Employee salaries

Cargo routes
If you have cargo enabled, it'll show up in demands. Cargo is somewhat easier to transport than passengers because it often has very large demands. To transport cargo, you need trucks!

Trucking haul

Find two cities with ample cargo demand. Do the same as you'd do with a bus: make a route, buy a truck, and assign it to your manager. Trucks are usually cheaper than buses so you don't need as much cash.
Tip: For some reason the game classifies trucks as buses.
Expanding operations
You've got a healthy bank balance and a steady flow of income going, so why not expand your operations into more countries/states?

Buying a license

To operate transportation services in another country, you need a license. The price of the license depends on a few factors;
How large/small that country is
How many cities that country has
How many medium/large cities that country has

Let's buy a license to operate in Moldova, because you'd really like to make a truck route out of Chisinau. Click on Moldova, and click buy license.
It should cost $25,000, so if you have enough, pay up and start transporting away!
Your company matures
By now you might be getting interested in operating from big cities, and using trains to do that!

Metropolises

Large cities tend to have lots of cargo demands, but they also have much higher expectations than other cities. So you need to use fancier vehicles, or people won't want to take the bus!

Do the same as you'd do with any bus/truck: set up a road route, buy your bus, and assign it to your manager. For large cities, in order to make people want to ride, you should either buy higher-quality vehicles and/or lower your ticket prices.
Tip: If you see a red frowny-face next to a vehicle, that means no one is riding it.

Crashes

Sometimes your vehicles will crash. This makes it unusable and irreparable. You'll know a road vehicle has crashed when it makes a loud car-honking noise. It will despawn after a few seconds, and you will get whatever value is left of it as compensation.
There is no way to fix crashes, and you'll have to buy another vehicle to replace it. You can atleast reduce the chance of a crash by fully repairing your vehicles. Simply hit the full-repair button in the depot menu as shown.

Trains

Now for the main attraction of this section: trains! Trains are much more expensive than road vehicles but they will earn more money, so it is worth it in the end. To buy trains, you'll need a train license.
It costs a hefty $200,000 dollars. But once you get it, start saving and saving, up until you have enough cash to buy a train. Trains require their own route type, their own depot, and their own manager, so get those aswell. Set it up just like you would any other route. And voila! You have your very first train!
Tip: Freight trains are cheaper than passenger trains.
Epilogue
Well done! If you have made it to the end of this guide, congrats! You are now a full-fledged, semi-experienced transport manager. Have fun!
