The Silenced Masterson is the best pistol in Mafia III. This is because it combines stealth with high damage. The weapon struggles slightly in the accuracy department, but players will usually be going for a single headshot during stealth anyway.

A silenced fully automatic secondary with low recoil and decent damage. What more can I say.

Hangar 13's take on the classic Vietnam era M16. Low recoil, high rate of fire and high damage.

The best "boomstick" in Mafia III. High rate of fire, improved range, insane damage and low recoil.

Shotgun One Handed
Elmwood 1925
The one handed shotguns generally aren't the best choice in Mafia 3. But if your looking to decimate up close the Elmwood 1925 is the best choice.

Rifle
Hartmann .30
The Hartmann .30 is unlocked surprisingly early in Mafia 3, and its truly incredible. Low recoil, infinite range, high damage and a nice 15 round magazine.

Special
Hartmann 7.62mm
Hangar 13's take on the M60. Zero recoil, crazy damage, 100 round magazine and a moderate rate of fire. Rambo would be proud.

Molotov Cocktail
Easily the best throwable in the game. Explodes on impact instantly eliminating anyone nearby.
