If you fail to report this anomaly quickly you will have an animated scene where it zooms into the door at the very end of the corridor, where you will meet a white figure, and die.

If you can't win, that's fine. Sometimes they appear at the same time, and sometimes while you're reporting something something just pops up and kills you. Don't worry about it, alright?
Just get back to the game, and try again. If not, then memorise this list, or have it side by side.
