Tenshi Hinanawi

The eldest daughter of the Hinanawi clan, Tenshi Hinanawi enters Rivals of Aether!




Tenshi gains resource by using the graze mechanic from Touhou. If she nearly dodges an attack, it will trigger a pink graze and reward a small amount of meter. If Tenshi avoids damage through her counter, parry, roll, or air dodge, she will trigger a blue graze which rewards twice as much meter as a pink graze.


Tenshi's gimmick is the Peach Install super move. She can build up meter by using a graze mechanic that triggers when dodging, parrying, and countering attacks. While in this state all of her attributes are massively buffed, and she has armored attacks and upgraded strongs. But be careful, as when you run out of meter you enter a stun with reduced weight.



Tenshi's Uspecial and Nspecial allow her to summon a floating rock platform. This platform can be turned into a very powerful projectile by using Nspecial anywhere or using Fspecial while standing on it. This projectile can hit Tenshi too, but that's ok as she can dodge it with her projectile immune Fspecial for a graze or counter it with Dspecial.

And if your opponent is in hitstun when you counter the rock...



Any player in a match can press parry during round start and Tenshi will enter lightweight mode. This will remove extra install visuals to save on performance if you experience lag during the install.
