A total of 250 WH40K Emblems (and more coming).

- NOTE -

All of these images are based on Warhammer 40,000 symbology. While I did re-create all of them from scratch in Photoshop, the symbols themselves are not my property. These versions of those images are free to distribute, should you wish, with proper accreditation, so long as no monetization is involved.

The sizes are determined by the game - not anything I do. To make an emblem requires three sizes - a 256x256 size version that appears on the menus (species collection, in-gme menus, etc), a 124x124 size one that is for the Map alone, and a 24x24 that is used for mobile unit flags and the like.

It isn't a matter of me deciding how bit I want them to appear, I'm afraid. It's all hard coded.

If possible could u make some emblems bigger as u can barely see them on the flag like for example the imperium of man skull and wings i cant even tell that its a skull lol

I've taken some time to rearrange the images on this page to match (I think...) the order of the names in the lists. It should help you find one particular image if you are looking through the lists for your favorite.

Thanks to poster "Epic Man" for this one as well. As a note, this was also used - by Imperial Direction - in place of the Imperial Aquila on the armor of the 3rd Legion (Imperial Children) prior to their turn to Chaos... no other Legion was allowed to use the Lightning Bolt version, as that was part of the Emperor's own Emblem.

Thanks to poster "Epic Man" for pointing out the second name of the XVI Legion Pre-Heresy.

Certainly doable. I've read up on the name and it looks like the 16th Legion changed their name to "Sons of Horus" shortly before the Heresy. I'm not sure where to stick this one, but as it seems to be the only one of the originals to change names, it may best fit among the original twenty.

This finishes out all of my planned emblems for this mod - at least until I find (or am directed to) another canon source for emblems I haven't covered yet. Make it 248 emblems... and several years later.
