Hello everyone, I recently became a Grandmaster and decided to share my accumulated knowledge with you. I tried to collect as much information as possible while I was playing. I probably missed many things, but I am confident that what I documented here will greatly ease your journey.

I can't guarantee all of them are "fixed", but I am certain at least the majority of them is correct, specially the ones that are not found in Dirt Piles (I have this feeling that Dirt Piles sometimes seemed random, as I found a lot of repeated equipment in it)

Skills
On one hand, deciding where to spend your LPs is of big importance in this game, since you can only acquire a limited amount of LPs. On the other hand, I finished my Grandmaster run at level 9 with 30+ spare LPs because I kept saving and saving them, afraid to waste it. After beating it, I ended up buying 4 STR (I didn't buy a single attribute until then) to equip the best Axe in the game (I beat the game using Dagger)

That being said I'll give my opinion on the skills after beating the game in Grandmaster difficulty using a melee fighter:

Swordplay/Archery/Arcane Arts: This is your bread and butter, I say you should maximize the one you are playing. Higher levels unlock new spells/abilities and increase your damage dealt. Keep in mind both Swordplay and Arcane Arts have level 2 skill books, so if you want to maximize your efficiency, acquire those levels through the book, and not with LPs. Dual-classing seemed inefficient to me so I didn't even try it.

Create Weapon: Extremely useless in my opinion. And it costs a whooping 19 LPs to maximize. I strongly recommend to ignore this and acquire your weapons through exploring, this guide will help you find the weapon you desire. At level 2 in either Create Weapon or Create Armour, you unlock a Repair Statue which can be used to repair your items (you still pay to repair it).

If you still decide to level it up, Isaac in Balrum SW (north-east of Mage's Guild) teaches how to handle Ancient Linen and Lew in Balrum SW (south-east of Mage's Guild) teaches how to smelt Dalantium Ores into Bars (he also smelts Dalantium Ores into Bars for you, which is a better alternative since you don't need to spend LPs in Mining/Smelting). At level 2 in either Create Weapon or Create Armour, you unlock a Repair Statue which can be used to repair your items (you still pay to repair it).

Alchemy: Very good skill in my opinion. But don't start with it, there are books for level 1 and 2 in the first area of the game. Using crazy potions and foods I was able to beat the final boss in Grandmaster difficulty at level 9. Maximum ingredients is based on the bottle and Maximum capacity is based on Alchemy level.

Survival: Not worth the points in my opinion. The "Cheat Death" mechanic is good but savescumming is better. Hunger/Thirst eventually make no difference in your life, neither does light.

Mining/Smelting: Since I don't recommend Create Armour nor Create Weapons, this skill becomes useless too. There is a Book of Mining level 2 in Balrum, so that will go to waste if you decide to not level this skill up. If you still decide to level this skill up, Lew in Balrum SW (south-east of Mage's Guild) teaches how to smelt Dalantium Ores into Bars (he also smelts Dalantium Ores into Bars for you, which is a better alternative since you don't need to spend LPs in Mining/Smelting). But to smelt Moonstone Ores into Bars you'll still need to level up Mining/Smelting. Moonstone Bars are only used in crating Rings.

Farming: Good skill to synergize with alchemy and cooking. You'll be able to plant a higher quantity of important ingredients and also be able to have more berry bushes in your safeplace. But wait to level this up once you get the Book of Farming level 2 in Balrum for maximum LP efficiency. Remember to use that wisp farming technique, wisps don't need hunting skill to be captured, just lure them into a taming trap.

Carpentry: You start with this level 1 already and there's a Book of Carpentry level 2 in Balrum, I wouldn't put any more points in this, except if you want to create a more aesthetically safeplace (check Safeplace section). Once you get it to level 2 you can build Health and Mana Obelisks, which function as passive regenerators. This can be a quick, cheap and efficient way of healing yourself. Plan where to put it accordingly, since every time you teleport to the Safeplace you land on the same cell square. The Obelisks' range seems to be 10 cells.

Health Obelisk: 1 Ruby, 4 Stones, 1 Dalantium Ore, 1 Skull and 1 Silver Bark
Mana Obelisk: 1 Diamond, 4 Stones, 1 Dalantium Ore, 1 Nightmare Berry and 1 Silver Bark

Trapping: I didn't use this in my melee fighter neither in my mage, but I can see this being slightly useful for Archers. I would probably still end up not leveling it.

Picklocking: This skill is a must, but only level 1. Further levels are irrelevant.

Hunting: This skill is only interesting if you want to change your pet, you can find creature ingredients in containers/bushes, but probably won't even use them since ideally you won't level Create Armour and Create Weapons. I remained with the wolf both in my fighter and mage.

You got a typo in Carpentry 2 skillbook, its on SE Balrum, not SW.

@Spaghetti yeah I think that would be OP too xD congrats on finding him, it's on the guide on Bosses section, but it doesn't walkthrough the whole quest like you did, I figured the guide would become way too big if I put every quest in the game in it

in any case, I think too that the way you described is the best possible outcome

Found it. Head straight west from her house, it's a big bear, get close to update the quest then run back and tell her, choose to be honourable, then go and kill it yourself, after returning to her, suggest she color the skin, after that, tell her to come clean. Pretty sure that's the best result.

Sure, but i doubt it, now that you pointed it out it kinda makes sense, 4 rings with myriad stats is way too OP. I will certainly comment on anything i find that's not in the guide, like my current task is to find the worthy hunt for Jillian. No doubt someone in the future will come looking here for directions to it.
