Yeah. For example, If I aimed for Zombie Genocider achievement and my game crashed before I could save, my progress would have been erased and I will have to do it again for the unlockable.

And not reset in the middle after getting it else you won't see it in your security room.

You have to complete the requirements in your playthrough.

Does anybody know if its "have the achievement unlocked in Steam" or "complete the requirements in your playthrough" to be given the reward when you get an ending?

Example:
I photographed all survivors in the security room & got the 50 survivors photograph achievement. I then exited my game without saving. If I now complete the game, will I be awarded the White Hat reward for having the achievement on my account, or I won't because I didn't save after taking the 50 survivors photograph?

I did the mistake of restarting the mode after I got Item Smasher. It was literally the only reward in the security room to get.

You need to finish a playthrough to unlock the items. If you restart the story after you did the achievement, I don't think you will unlock the items.

So if you unlock an achievement and don't finish with an ending and restart... do you have to do the challenge itself again in another game, having to manually keep track of if you've reached it or not?
