To change the color of the text we will use the log_color command, in which we have to set the text channel and the code of the selected color. An example command looks like this:

log_color General EE7E50EE
log_color Console EE7E50EE

The above commands will change the color of the main text in the console to orange. We can also set text colors for other channels - the list of channels can be found under the log_dumpchannels command.

Below you will find more colors that you can use in the command. At the very end of this entry, you will also find the command to restore the default colors in the console.

Just enter the following commands into the console to restore the default white text color.
If you added the commands to the autoexec file to change the text, change the value of the log_color commands to FFFFFFFF.
