Win without decreasing speed in the control box.
If you aim for "Dumb Ways to Die" achievement, open control box first and die before doing this achievement.

Flip the coin(use it on yourself) until achievement pops up.

Take and open the box that will appear in multiple locations after releasing the Dark Thing.

Resisted opening the box.
Take the box with you, but don't open it. Don't use mouse wheel for item selection after that, otherwise box will drop and automatically open. Use inventory button to take out items instead. Achievement will pop after the battle with Dark Crab.

Persuaded Nineveh to hone Beak.

Die multiple times in Dreamland until Clown entrance stops speaking. Point of no return for this achievement - killing the Dark Crab. If you aim for "Dumb Ways to Die" achievement, you should get this around the time you died all different ways before fighting Dark Crab.

When talking to Murmur in Strangeland, remember what cards you chose for Past, Present, and Future self(Fool/Hermit/Hanged Man). When confronted with Trio in Deadland, properly name your younger, current, and older selves.

  • Fall into the well.
  • Eight-Three. (tell him "Make me something" until it burns you)
  • Black Dog.
  • Knife. (use it on yourself)
  • Control box of the Shooting game. (press the button when any of the hands point at non-lit area)
  • Masquettes. (ask to look under their masks)
  • Electric fence.
  • Fall after confronting the Dark Thing for the first time. (unmissable)
  • Starfish acid. (unmissable)
  • By Dark Thing, don't run away during random encounter.
  • Fall into the gap before using wings.
  • By Dark Crab, just wait until it kills you.

Deadland
  • Snake.
  • Drink poison.
  • Feral man.

Achievement should pop after the Shadow kills you during chasing scene.

You can get the achievement early on, in Act 1 as u start the game, go left and keep asking him till he does.

For Big Talker, you need to hit both the Well Raven and the Well You-Raven with a rock to start a conversation.

I can get u a savegame that will unlock the achievement if you want, but you have to talk to the well raven by throwing a rock at it

Big Talker doesn't work for me, after 3 playthroughs, but I really doubt it's bug so I must be doing something wrong. I definitely talked to all listed NPCs.. The only one who comes to mind is the Well Crow at the beginning, but it just says the complete "Sticks and stones" verse before repeating itself so I'm at a loss. Can you talk to the Woman before the final automatic conversation?? It's my last achiev but I'm probably not gonna start a fourth game just to get it, at least not now. XD

James Spanos, can you elaborate on Deadland Skulls? Is it while using torch on Shooting Gallery in Strangeland(where you temporary get into Deadland), or while solving puzzle there later in Deadland itself?
