HVAC Expansion

Beskrivning
HVAC Expansion
A mod adding four new buildings for all your HVAC and HVAC-adjacent needs.

Supported Game Versions
  • Base Game
  • Spaced Out

Features
  • Thermo Aquacooler: Works like an inverse Aquatuner, cooling it's surroundings instead of heating them.
  • Thermo Conditioner: Works like an inverse Thermo Regulator, cooling it's surroundings instead of heating them.
  • Auto Evaporator: Heats and evaporates piped liquids, but dumps them if they're not hot enough.
  • Auto Condenser: Cools and condenses piped gases, but dumps them if they're not cold enough.

Note, only gases that fully evaporate and liquids that fully condense without any byproducts can be piped into the Auto Condenser and Auto Evaporator. All others will cause "Wrong Element Damage".

Q&A
Q: Why don't you add versions of the buildings that cool/heat faster for more electricity.
A: They wouldn't present any unique challenges compared to the regular versions of these buildings. More powerful buildings aren't off the table, I just don't want using them to be too easy.

Mod Compatibility
  • Customize Buildings: All buildings added respect the max pipe pressure and percent throughput options.

Credits
  • Building Art/Animations: 3GuB

Having trouble updating?
If you are unable to update HVAC Expansion, you need to install Mod Updater and force update this mod. If that still doesn't work, go into Mod Updater's settings in the Mods menu and click "Reset to Default" then "Okay". It should then prompt you to restart the game, which should fix the issue.

Issue reporting
If you find an issue with the mod, please report it on the issue tracker[github.com] as I will be more likely to see it there than in the comments.

Otherwise, it's useful for compacting gasses into canisters when you have too much ... Hints I use it to make a giant CO2 Block by condensing the gas 1st, filling some container and then super cooling it to freeze point with Thermo Aquatuner setup.

So to anyone who was as confused as I was with the condenser, it just kicks out gas if the gas going in isn't "cold enough" I've estimated this to be around 25-30 degrees within the condensation point, which makes it kinda pointless except for the fact that you can control the temperature and make it more consistent with the condenser rather than just doing it manually. Long story short, your condensed gas won't fluctuate in temperature as much making it easy to maintain a specific temperature. So just cool the gas going in to around 25-30ish degrees within condensation point and it'll work. This took me 2 years to figure out "LOOKING AT YOU MODDER"

Thermo Aquacooler Works like an <del>inverse</del> Aquatuner.

Also, is it cooled enough?

Are you sure you have version 2.2.1?

Bugged, steam can't turn to water, I tried reduced to 100g/s none worked still dumped steam bottles. Auto Condenser not worked. Just use water pipe cooler or solid conveyor cooler will condenser worked great.

Figured out the actual issue; should be fixed now.

So the issue is that the fields in the code that I believed to represent the transition temperatures of an element are not actually the transition temperatures of an element, so now I'm a bit stuck as I don't know where in the code the transition temperatures are actually found.

I believe I have found a fix for the autocondenser/evaporator issue.
