Welcome!

This mod contains the following:
  • 1 new fictional Country: The State of Vorobey, former Communist Eastern Bloc State. Will long-standing socialist and unionist traditions prevail or will this country truly embrance changes like capitalism, religion or migration?

  • 2 new optional policies:
    • Railway Stations: Subsidize Stations to encourage commuting by train instead of car and maybe also build a communal center at the same time.
    • Military Tactical Police Unit: Heroes of the Nation, Defenders of the State! Patriots celebrate them, Liberals decry them as the dirty-workers of the state.

Very great mod. I really enjoyed playing it. It is just a different type of country than vanilla ones. Just a suggestion: could you make corruption way higher than it already is and could it be possible to have organised crime? These were very important problems which post-soviet countries faced and it would be great to see them here.

Happy to report that round two is working out significantly better, as I pursue Dengist policies to stimulate the economy for a new Vorobey!

Had an amazing time getting the GDP back in line, but even as I improved foreign relations, boom, foreign airstrikes, for fear of the small nation of Vorobey harboring WMDs. All my hard work, destroyed. Debt crisis ensued. Ah well, better luck next time. :)

It feels balanced. However, I think you could increase the amount of political power it takes to implement it.

Great mod! I really like the idea of adding fictional countries to the game. Also you can make policies or situations exclusive to your country by using prereqs, currently you cannot create new ones in a mod file but you can use "prereq_preindustrialized" that is not used by any country.
