Required Materials
You will need a set of Defensive Spikes, it is advised to put them in an area where you can easily get on top of them. Try to keep a friend close by when this does inevitably kill your character.
Steps
1. Build your Defensive spikes
2. Jump on top of the spikes.
3. Pick your most powerful weapon, this will reduce the number of hits required to break the spikes.
4. Look down and jump, attacking the spikes you are standing on.
5. Repeat step 4, a lot.
6. Enjoy

I had something similar to this happen to me with the spikes as well. It was on a beach and me and a friend were making a perimeter of the spikes.

Just before finishing the build of one of them, I kinda fell in between the space and when I placed the final log, I got launched into the air.
