Well... Six complete playthroughs, a couple replays of 2 and 3, 1,100 hours, an insanity run, paragon and renegade runs, all achievements unlocked, and all classes but soldier played later, and now I get it.
I hate Turians.
But seriously, I'm currently writing out an outline for a 7 part story starting with my Shepard's childhood at 4 fucking years old because she has so thoroughly invaded my brain. It's over 8k words already, with only 3 parts fully outlined, and I'm finally getting to the stuff where the games begin.
In conclusion: I don't think I'll ever be normal again.
