But why is this? Why is Sergeant John Forge always in trouble when fighting these units?
Forge is in trouble!
When in campaign games, Forge is often found in his customized M12G1 Gauss Warthog, and can dish out some nice damage to infantry early on, this makes him a great offensive and defensive unit that players obtain at the start of the level.

So, why does Forge always find himself in trouble with literally anything the listed units? Well, to answer that question, we'll have to break it down a little more.

Forge has a tendency to not shoot literally anything that is attacking him, even if Anders began firing her pea-shooter at him Forge would likely sit there and take it. Why does Forge do this? Because Forge is a masochist that finds pleasure in Captain Cutter saying "Forge is down."

When Forge is finally pushed from his warthog, he's equipped with his trusty M90 Close Assault Weapon System, the UNSC's primary shotgun which is normally renowned to be the one of the most effective close-range infantry weapons used by the front line forces. With its immense power and ease of use, it's pretty easy to think that Forge would be able to hold his own, well you'd be wrong.

Forge, continuing with his masochist behavior of standing there while being shot, also seems to reload his M90 Close Assault Weapon System Shotgun quite frequently. It is rumored that he drops the shells about 85% of the time he attempts to reload, leading him to have to reload once again after firing one shot, to which he likely misses. Without backup, you're likely to hear Captain Cutter's familiar and fan-favorite line very quickly.

In Conclusion
Forge is probably the worst unit, hands down. If he loses that warthog, you might as well restart the mission if you're on legendary, or risk watching our dude miss 30 shots at an Elite before that very same Elite rips him and your base to shreds.

Anyway, Forge is down, hero units can be revived if they are "killed", once their health has regenerated to half its maximum value. Their health will automatically regenerate if they are "killed".
