IL-28T

Description
Il-28 - the first jet Soviet front-line bomber. Since the action of the STRMWRKS is on the sea, I made it in the version of a torpedo bomber. It differs from the basic version in a longer bomb bay (6 meters instead of 4),
additional tanks at the ends of the fenders, cockpit paintings and other minor details.

This is a relatively uncomplicated model, built in a couple of weekends, but nevertheless, it also includes, in addition to my usual failure system, some innovations.
In general, what do we have:
- simulation of engines and their support systems
- engine failures and fires
- failures of the engine lubrication system, oil leaks
- failures of engine startup systems
- failures of the fuel system, pumps, fuel leaks
- instruments failures
- simulation and failures of electrical systems
- simulation of icing, failures of the corresponding systems and devices
- simulation of landing gear and wing mechanization failures
- realistic atmospheric pressure
- simulation of the influence of weather on systems and engines
- navigation system with autopilot, radar and other quirks
- torpedo!
- catapult!
- rear turret!
- repair and maintenance of this entire thing

What you need to know about systems and controls
Engines speed - up to 110%. The automatic overrev protection enables at 115%.
Exhaust temperature - up to 550 at startup, in flight up to 685 for a long time, up to 720 for 10 minutes
Oil temperature - up to 121 degrees
Oil pressure - from 3 to 4 bar in flight
Air pressure - from 130 to 150 bar. The air system is needed to control the landing gear, cannon, bomb bay doors. There is a backup air system.
The pressure in the hydraulic system is 100-120 bar. The hydraulic system is needed for brakes and flap control. If the hydraulic pump fails, the system is automatically charged once from the air system through the hydro accumulators.
Voltage AC - 115 V, DC - 24-28 V. DC supplies the main systems, such as ignition and fuel pumps, AC supplies navigation equipment, instruments and some additional systems.

When overspeeding with the landing gear extended, they can jam in the current position and cannot be repaired without landing. If any of the gears fails for other reasons,
there is a chance it can be released using the emergency landing gear release switch.
When overspeeding with the flaps extended, they break and remain in the raised position. Repairs are only possible on the ground.

Engine Panels - Signed in the game. They also have oil fillers - you can use any connector (not a hose) to add oil (not included).
Refueling panels have an obvious function. Warning! You always have to refill front tank first!

Catapult is avaliable at any speed, but works best at speeds up to 300 and level flight. It is recommended to carry out a torpedo attack at a speed of no more than 250 km/h and a water depth of at least 30 meters.
Tropedo drop blocked if speed is less than 100 km/h.
The maximum speed in ideal conditions is about 530 km/h. Stall speed - 135-138 km/h. The minimum speed for level flight is 145 km/h with flaps extended.

Unstable engine operation means either an oil or fuel problem.
Unstable oil pressure means oil leakage.
Low fuel pressure means either a leak, or pump failure, or fuel filters freezing.
An oil or fuel leak is highly likely to cause an engine fire. An indirect sign of leaks is an increase in exhaust temperature.
Airplane icing is possible in case of rain / snow / fog and temperatures below 0. Icing of pitot tubes leads to incorrect operation of the altimeter, airspeed indicator and variometer.
Icing the intake of engines leads to a loss of power and possibly to a complete flameout.
Freezing of fuel is possible at below zero temperatures. (Obviously, that means water in fuel freezing, not fuel itself)

Failures of the engine or its systems are not always obvious and in any case usually lead to flying on one engine.
Attention! The autopilot cannot work correctly when flying with one engine! Manual control only. Tip - use the trimmer ALT + arrows.

There is no time to write a complete guide, alas.
