Is DS2 still hated nowadays? I feel like everyone who still does are considered irrelevant at this point. I personally always thought it was stupid. All 3 games are good in their own ways

people just liked to meme about DS2 being bad, it's very sad because the game is very fun, even if less surprising after playing the first one. I have to admit that the strange feeling of exploration that I got from finding the great hollow and descending to ash lake just to find a baby dragon chilling there is something I didn't feel throughout DS2.

The major problems people gripe about are the same old shit, and tbh, the issue is simply they had to change things to make the game different in some way. If they kept the same DkS1 mechanics, then we'd get bitching.

Couple that with they have the need to pour their opinions down someones throat because their parents and schools never once taught them any form of critical thinking, and well, you got the minority, but very loud, Dark souls 2 hater.
