Welcome to Firelight, Constestant X2292ZT5. You have been selected to take part in the most action-packed survival show in the darknet, The Rimgame!

Every year, participants like you are sent to this rimworld by our wonderful sponsors, interested mercenaries, show enthusiasts and even government agencies. Most of the contestants are criminals, addicts, or simply people who need to be taken rid of. Put them all together in a toxic and dangerous planet and the show can begin.

Firelight (this Rimworld) has particular characteristics that make this all even more interesting. Its air is "filled to the rim" with modified explosive mechanites, so everyone who dies will explode! Regular flashstorms, toxic fallouts and volcanic winters won't make survival easy, either. And let's not forget about the constant psychic drone, designed to keep everyone on edge, at all times!
