This is a 100% achievement guide so there will be spoilers.

Some basic tips:

Every stage can be completed with any character.
Difficult settings will have no influence in the achievements (play the one you like)
Gebel and Hachi have fixed sub-weapons so whenever you break a purple lamp with them there will always be weapon points.

To get all the achievements for this episode you need to complete every stage and beat the game. Beating the game will unlock episode 2.

You will need to play this episode twice.



Don’t get the Zanmatou and finish the episode. (Zanmatou is a sword for Zangetsu)
Beating this episode will unlock the Episode EX.



Finish episode 2 after obtaining the Zanmatou and don’t use stage select.

To get the Zanmatou you will need to collect it’s 3 parts in the first 3 stages. The bad news is that the Zanmatou is the default weapon meaning you will lose those cool moves of the soul eraser. Beating this episode will unlock the Final Episode.

Stage 1
Break the floor with Hachi and head down. Eventually you will reach the room with the first piece.





Stage 2
With Hachi break the block on the left.





Stage 3
Break the floor.





After getting the 3 parts the Zanmatou can be found in stage 4. Head down in the first staircase near an ice golem. You will find yourself in the room of the screenshot below.



From the room of the screenshot above head left to the Zanmatou room.



Remember that you cannot use stage select in order to get the "That woman, Dominique" achievement.

Only 1 achievement, just beat this mode.

Final Episode
You will need to beat this episode twice as well.

I recommend doing “Luna Secare” last. After beating this episode for the first time you will unlock the ultimate Zangetsu mode which makes him super strong with 3 hit combos, double jump, dash and charge attack.



In this episode you start only with Zangetsu. Each stage has one companion at random so if you like a certain character and it is in a hard stage you can restart the episode and try again.
To get those 3 you just need to complete all stages and beat the episode. Each boss you kill will give you a part for the ship.



To go with Zangetsu alone you have to complete the stage that has no companion in it, after you beat the boss you will be able to go alone to the moon. The empty stage is random as well so if you get a stage too hard you can restart and try again.
