​ Adjust the Recording Settings. Click Preferences in the sidebar: a dialog box will appear.

​ Here, you can manage different options: hide the sidebar, disable the countdown, select the output folder, and more.

​ Click the Screen recording button and select the area containing the video on the Instagram page.

​ It’s vital that the recording of all system sounds is enabled: the System Audio icon on the recording panel is green if this option is turned on. Make sure the Webcam and the Microphone are turned off.

Record the Instagram Video. Click the REC button. The recording process will begin after a 3-second countdown.

You can use the Pause and Screenshot buttons during the process.

To finish recording, click Stop.

Save the Instagram Video to your computer. Click the Save As button. In the dialog box that appears, name the file and choose the output format. Click Save once more.
