The two 'busywork' achievements for Scrap Garden are a pain to do since they require a tiny bit of grinding, even if you 100% the story.

How to Get Exterminator/Can't Get Enough achievement with as little pain as possible
There are two achievements in Scrap Garden ('Exterminator' and 'Can't Get Enough') that require just a tiny bit of grind to get. 'Exterminator' requires you to kill 300 of the game's really easy enemies, and 'Can't Get Enough' requires you to smash the wooden crates you can find in all the levels. It's unlikely(unless you die a lot) that you'll hit either number even 100%'ing the rest of the game.

To clear both achievements quickly, head to Level 3 (The desert plateau level). Level 3 is a better deal than the first level since enemies(and crates) reset on death, and falling off the side of the level kills you.

Immediately in front of where you spawn is 1 crate and 3 scorpions. Simply goomba-stomp the three scorpions and the crate, then leap off the edge of the map to your right.

Rinse and repeat until achievements pop.

Strange, maybe check your install? It was like a second for me on the respawn. It did take a long time though, these achievements should really be 1/2 the amount considering you don't get anywhere close to it in a normal playthrough, even stomping every enemy and crate you find.

the time need to respawn is quite long, i didnt count it, but the spiders felt faster or at least less boring

You can! But you need to go further into the level to get to them, whereas the Level 3 has less spiders, you can jump off and respawn the enemies very quickly, and get the crate achievement at the same time.

i recommend chapter 6, you can go in a circle and kill 8 spiders in a short time
