The Corsair class attack drone line serve as the standard light drone in the LKF. Due to their versatility and combat abilities they are often used to probe ahead of larger ships, sometimes even capital class vessels.

They are also capable of flight within Luna's gravity well. Allowing them to be used Luna and space side.

Since the conclusion of the Lunar war Corsair drones have been useful for destroying and still active TFK defense platforms or installations without any risk to life.

An example was delivered to the WEC by an Invictus class corvette for further study on the part of WEC due to their experience with drone technology. WEC also got a chance to study LKF design language. Unfortunately the Invictus responsible was destroyed in battle shortly after on Europa.

Description

The Corsair class is a small attack drone useful for scouting or probing enemy defenses before comitting larger vessels. To do this its equipped with cameras, a gatling gun and light armour.

It is also capable of flying in Lunar gravity. Its powered by a single large battery and the gatling gun needs to be hand-loaded. Which isn't really an issue for a craft of this size.
