The game has a tendency to crash to desktop during full screen text (NVL style) story scenes. Simply switching from exclusive full screen to borderless fixes the issue. You don't need any external software, just go to the game's display options and switch from "full screen" to "borderless". The game will look and play the same but will no longer be crashing.

Playing HIkage's Shiobi Heart, at the intro scene, it crashes after reaching a certain point [when Hikage was muttering about this 'Giant Heart' business thingy]

I have it on full screen borderless using a i9-11900KF and a RTX 4070, it worked perfectly on the missions before "A Mother's Bond", but when I did the cutscene for the mission specified, it crashed on the same spot, and it was before the mission even began (The cutscene that has a still image and text from top to bottom of the screen)

Tested it on windowed, full-screen and borderless, crashed on all three. Have no mods, clean install and verified files. I'm on windows 10 and use a 2080.
