"Before they were pixel art, they were drawings and Ideas. Here's a small group of drawings of the Fae. Originally the witch was not a flying unit. She used to stand, but I did a concept of her on her broom stick and she then became one of the first flying units you see. That happened a lot in the creation of this game. We had idea but then another more interesting one came along and we went for it. The game was very fun to make because of that. Barn Reaper could have had a scythe to reflect his name a bit more. Gremlin Warlord had lots of drawings before the final was picked. Many of them had drum because I liked that idea. Pangolins are one of my favorite animals so I drew many different styles. Some designs had less attempts than others like."
