Alright, now for the (not so) tricky stuff.
  • STEALTH NEUTRALIZING If you can sneak behind a character, you get the option to grab them.
  • RIGHT ABOVE THEIR NOSES If you are in a narrow enough hallway, walk into the wall and jump. Fisher with plant his feet on both sides of the wall and suspend himself.
  • ON A RAIL If there is a pipe above you, you can jump up to grab them.
  • BEING A GOOD BOY You can use the left mouse button to silently kill a character. Lambert doesn't want you to kill anyone? Right mouse button can non-lethally knock them out, but don't worry, they don't get back up either way. You can also use this with all of the above techniques.
    -After grabbing a character, a lethal attack can throw them over ledges
    -If you are hanging on a ledge and there is a character above you, you can use the lethal attack the throw them off.
    -If you are holding a character you can hold the knockout/lethal attack button to seamlessly go from a knockout into a carry. (Thanks to Labamba!)
  • CONSIDERING OPTIONS Can't get a shot around a corner? Press Q while aiming to switch the side that the camera is on.
  • SELECTIVE INFILTRATION Pipes, fences, and ziplines can all be mounted most of the time.
  • HEY IT'S LIKE THAT OTHER TOM CLANCY GAME Occasionally, high drops can be rappelled down.
  • WE GOTTA HIDE THE BODY If you knock someone out, and if a badguy comes over and finds him, he can be awakened and will get right back up to search for you. (Thanks to louie g!)
  • REMOTE HACKING? You're damn right! Thanks to @DER BUCHHALTER's great tip, you can use the EEV to hack computers from a distance, so long as you have line of sight on the computer tower itself (DOES NOT WORK ON MONITORS). After scanning the computer (just look at it long enough) you can press Space to interact with the computer's interface.

you LEGEND. I'm new to the game and it has no tutorial other than some long videos, and had no idea how to shoulder switch lmao

Maybe you want to add the roll, which you can do by accelerating to the maximum speed and holding the crouch button I believe

@Taberone: You can pick up an unconscious character and throw them around. Hit the action key (Spacebar) when near the body to pick it up.

Is it possible to dump unconscious or dead bodies over railings, or does only grabbing them while they're alive work?

How do your hold your breath when zoomed in with optics? It's actually harder to aim when zoomed if you can't hold your breath.

@GonzoRando This game is pretty selective with where it lets you do certain actions, so it's probably your latter assertion that the area just isn't fit for it.
