7.29b (Core) Ember vs 6k Invoker smurf in 3k bracket
By Saint
This build is thoroughly crafted to win the lane against Invoker.

This build should suffice against Quas Wex but the typical Invoker smurf will use Quas Exort.

During the lane you'll want to trade aggressively against the Invoker smurf. The level 1 trades will typically go in your favor.

The moment the creeps meet in lane, pull the creep aggro twice, once to force the enemy creeps to attack your range creep, the second is to bait invoker to miss the last hit on the range creep. Being able to deny the range creep will stop invoker from reaching lvl 2 which in turn puts you in a massive advantage to harrass and trade against the Invoker smurf.

You'll want to stay in lane a bit longer than usual to prevent the Invoker smurf from being able to farm his Midas properly, only gank when you have a haste rune otherwise keep bullying the Invoker smurf.

After 3-4 kills on the Invoker smurf he will most likely jungle, this is the time to start pressuring the sidelanes. When you don't see invoker in lane go and gank, when he comes back pressure him some more.

To bring maximum effectiveness on this guide you'll want to get dota plus and obtain Ember's platinum voice line, then everytime you kill the Invoker smurf you'll want to use the "Even a master falters." voice line. That oughta teach him a lesson.

p.s If you lose your lane just give up and call gg, you cannot recover against the Invoker smurf if you lose the lane using this build.
