We waited 8 years for a fun game that got gutted and demade from nearly the ground up to a shell of its self. The point of improving means to make whats there better not to remove the functions that people actually liked, remember even if you are making it for your self you are making it also for people to buy and enjoy and if your customers dont like the changes you try to reach a common ground but...well beta test reviews speak for them selves.
The game was not 'hyped' up by its community wolley him self hyped it up by the community, he literally pulled a todd howard what everyone was expecting was cube world alpha WITH all the new features he was posting PERIOD but he then takes the cash from the sales and launch the train wreck it is now ANYWAY with no updates and vanish again! its almost criminal hell just recently another game literally just did almost the exact same thing called the day before.
Cube World is a game that was wrecked by it's own community's standards. Wolley made the changes he did because the community hounded him about seeing greatness, while also being endlessly anxious because of the haters in the crowd.
