How to get coins and exp fast
By Guardian
Don't hit me please, it's not an exploit :(

So, you're wondering how to earn some easy money and experience?
It's super easy, trust me... All you have to do is play as the killer... .

I know it sounds stupid, but if you try it out yourself, you'll see what I mean.
The killer easily gets 250+ coins on average, while each survivor gets about 20-40 coins (depending on how good / lucky he is). The same thing applies to experience... a survivor gets 150-300 experience per match, while the killer gets at least 4x as much (unless you escape as a survivor, in which case it's not too unbalanced in terms of experience).

Survivors get 5 coins per finished ritual, 1-2 coins (not sure exactly) per ritual item delivered, 5 coins per revived teammate and maybe a few more coins here and there, which is pathetic.
If you survive, you'll get about 10-30 coins, depending on the amount of HP you have left.

As a killer, you get 150+ coins just for hitting people (insane, right?) and many coins for doing other random stuff.
I'd suggest everyone who is trying to level up fast or get perks for survivors to just play killer for a few hours and you'll easily unlock a bunch of perks in no time.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be some sort of bug, or if the developers are rewarding players for playing as killers (not enough killers probably), but this is absolutely unfair to the survivors.
I'd say that lowering the amount of coins a killer earns is a must. About 30-50% less coins would be great, because as it stands right now, you can just run through the shop if you're only playing killer.
Also, the survivors definitely need at least double coins, 20-40 coins per match is disgusting...

Anyways, good luck getting those perks unlocked, and remember: don't let this stop you from playing as a survivor, if you enjoy that. I know I need the coins really bad, but playing as a killer is just too boring for me, so I just did it for about a day to get some money and stopped.
Thanks for reading through the guide (if you did) :)

Highest amount of coins I got as a survivor
While survivors get a lot less coins usually, it is still possible to get lucky and somehow earn around 150-190 coins. This will most likely happen once every five to ten matches though, don't expect to gain this many coins regularly as a survivor.
The two main factors which give you the most coins are: "Amount of HP remaining"(20-40 I believe) If you survive and "Specter excorcised" (50)

Battle pass brings replayability, which is coming.

As a matter of fact, if the devs increase the amount of coins that survivors gain, and if they don't decrease the amount of coins the killers gain, that would lower the possibility of special events which award coins appearing. Those kinds of events can be very crucial for keeping a happy and healthy playerbase.

I mean, neither playing 120 nor 10 games for a character is good, but I do believe that grindiness adds new goals for some people. So, while the economy needs to be fixed, I think the bigger issue of the two sides is for killers. Having everything unlocked in a couple of days is definitely not healthy for the game.
Plus, there are many games which require a LOT of grinding and are still extremely popular (for example Dead By Daylight, Monster Hunter World, etc.), so I'm pretty sure the playerbase won't dwindle *too much* if survivors don't get an increase in coin gain.

You're insane if you think western audiences would be okay with playing up to 120 games for a single killer/survivor as it stands right now.

I'd say that the amount of coins that survivors get is a good amount overall. At the moment, there are not that many items which you can purchase for coins, so the coins can lose meaning if you purchase everything.
This is just personal preference, but I believe that games are more fun if they're grindy (not too grindy of course).
Also, no need to be rude sir, I'm just stating my opinion here. I respect your opinion, but getting insulted like that really does not feel right.

LMAO your solution is to lower the amount of coins killers get instead of increasing the amount of coins survivors get??? Are you dumb or are you dumb?

Agreed on that :first_star::first_star:

Well, I hope the devs will actually implement a better reward system for both in future. Happy Hunting too!

5. "Aren't survivor get same amount of exp and coins when they managed to kill the killer?"
No, as a survivor, if you kill the killer (which is not going to happen that often), most of the time you get 100 coins. You can get around 170-190 coins if you're extremely, EXTREMELY lucky. This has happened to me maybe 2 or 3 times in the 70+ matches that I played.
In more than 60% of your matches as a survivor you will earn less than 50-60 coins.
When it comes to experience, it is a little bit more balanced than coins. If you play your match perfectly as a survivor, you will get about the same amount of experience as an average killer. But, as I said: Perfect matches are extremely rare...

I'm still open for discussions if there is still something to discuss about.
However, I sincerely hope that this wall of text (sorry) cleared up all the issues at hand.
Good luck and happy hunting :praisesun:
