How to stop the flashing bug

In Half-Life 2 Episode Two there's an issue where your screen will flash every time you take damage. This isn't supposed to happen and it hurts your ability to play the game. Luckily it's easy to fix.

If you're at or past Riding Shotgun you should start a new game at the last chapter you have unlocked. The bug starts when you get hit by acid antlions, and you won't see any of them past this point.

I havent played Episode 2 yet, im still on episode one, but when im done ill see how it works and on the 360 version for Half life, your always invincible and really fast, do you know why?
