"On Jan 16th, 2021, I started this fun project. I had a difficult time with fitting a third gun barrel without increasing the size of the ship. I tried to keep it a 1:1 ratio. The game doesn't have cylinders, so I experimented with the limited shapes in mind. AWEJOKER proposed an inverted triple gun design. I had a difficult time choosing between the double and the triple barrels. In the end, I decided to keep both. The front main batteries will have two barrels while the back will have three. The secondaries will have the double barrel since the third barrel won't fit without sticking together. Currently, working on painting the interiors :)

Length: 191 Wood Floors
Width: 30 Wood Floors
Hull Height: 5 Wooden Walls + 1 Half Wooden Wall
Super Structure: 15 Wooden Walls

I think each square is about 4-5 feet.
The No Pillar mod should work in all modes.
I recommend switching to creative mode for large builds.
You can switch back to survival mode after you're done.
The mod can be found here: https://www.raftmodding.com/mods/gamemode

Did you? That is awesome! I probably should have made her in creativ mode but oh well lol 1000 days later in game will look cool.

What is your length in terms of squares? Mine is 200 and it seems to be actually the same as your picture. Kaga is about 810 feet and i figures 1 square is 2 feet (405 feet) and divided that to get about 200 squares long yet she still seems extremely large; like I said about the same as your 1:1 yamato lol so I am curious. I also have her sitting at 6 full wall lengths high not including the island... As something seems odd I am changing things around and making new calculations and basically making a grid pattern for myself to follow.

Awesome, thanks for the link! I'll have to take a look. Do you know if the mod works in survival mode by chance? A carrier without aircraft just seems weird lol

Thanks! I actually thought about building the Kaga because it should be easier because the flight deck is flat with a small super structure. I decided to go with the Yamato because I thought it makes more sense to explore islands with a battleship anchored next to it. I'm pretty busy with other things at the moment as I'm still not finished with the interior of the ship. As for the wings, you need to use the No Pillars mod that removes the need to have pillars. It will save you a lot of time because when I started my project without it, I had hundreds of pillars which was frustrating to work with. You can find this mod here: https://www.raftmodding.com/mods/nopillars

Really nice! I did a BB with friends once but couldnt figure out the guns. Had lots of AA with plenty of fireworks stored lol. You and I should work together though lol I am currently working on the aircraft carrier Kaga (1/2 size - 200 squares long by 51 wide) but in survival mode - she is a beast. Blueprints are non-existent though and pictures are slim so I am jealous. I do like your Yamato aircraft... how did you get the wings to work without supports? I have 3 hangers that need some decoration

yes, currently the game is not optimized for big rafts. I get 50 fps in creative, but it drops to only 3 fps in other modes.

Is this in creativ?
