Realistic Canning

Descrição
A very simple mod that adds alternative canning recipes that remove sugar/vinegar as an ingredient.

These two ingredients are completely unnecessary for home canning, and are actually used for pickling, not canning.

This version of the mod still consumes jar lids. It's recommended to use it alongside another mod that increases lid spawns such as this one:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1557287920

Alongside the vanilla "Make jar of..." recipes, you will now see "Can jar of...", which is my modded version. Both recipes will create the vanilla "Jar of....", which must be cooked in a heat source to preserve it's freshness.

If you ever get the chance, an update of this mod to B42 would be great! It's my favorite canning mod because all it changes is the removal of vinegar, whereas other mods completely change canning food as a whole :/ Thanks for this mod, it's always been a must-have in my B41 runs!

Ну вообще чтобы засолить овощи нужен уксус, сахар соль и т.п. ну этот мод по сути делает из засоленных овощей просто банку с водой и овощами :p

Does this do anything to extend the shelf life beyond the vanilla "canning" recipes?

Im glad I wasnt the only one who thought vinegar or sugar for canning is an option not a requirement.

Can i somehow change some values, so canned food lasts shorter than pickled food? while it's great to have canning, pickled food (with vinegar+sugar) should last at least twice the time that your canned stuff would in real life. That part is missing for true realism

Based on Indie Stone's new post today, looks like a modpocolypse is coming soon. Hope to see this one among those who rise again.

we actually make tomato souce into glass bottle here in sicily and is made by simple cooking the tomato making juice separated from the seeds and skin and after that is poured into the glass bottle, once you achieve the desired quantity we use big couldron to sterilize the bottle and after all of that is all placed in a dark enviroment into ur house like cellar. There is a chance that they explode due to some mistake into the process lol.
