Raison D'être
This is a detailed guide on how to get through the chapters, not just get the achievements. If you want mere hints, use the other guide available.
I made this guide because:
• Optimization
• Sometimes, next actions are unclear.
• Disabilities that could make this game tedious if there isn’t a detailed guide.
• Achievement hunters
• I felt like it. :)

All of the images used for this guide are from the game itself or the dev's website.
Auto Achievements
There are achievements for finishing each chapter.

Tea (Chapter 1)
Synced (Chapter 2)
Snapshot (Chapter 3)
Searching for Signal (Chapter 4)
Coffee (Chapter 5)
Adorae (Chapter 6)
Signal Lost (Chapter 7)
Reunion (Chapter 8)
Wine (Chapter 9)
Memories (Chapter 10)
Reconnected (Chapter 11)
Brine (Chapter 12)
Multiple-Chapter Achievements
There are a few achievements that require actions over different chapters.

Hop To It
There's a bunny plushie to find in each chapter. You must examine it each time.

A Shrubbery!
Throughout the guide I'll let you know when there's a plant to talk to, but please be aware that this achievement can be missed if you don't exhaust all the dialogue each time. Examine/interact with the plant until the dialogue repeats.
Occurrences: Ch1, Ch3, Ch5, Ch11

Sorry Dave
Throughout the game, a rather confused guy on a cellphone is talking to someone named Dave. The idea is to eavesdrop on his conversation whenever available. This is another achievement that can be missed if you don't exhaust all the dialogue each time.
Occurrences: Ch2, Ch4, Ch6, Ch12

History Repeats Itself
A "history buff" can be found throughout the story in certain chapters. He often has something interesting to say, even though the main characters act like it's boring sometimes. He's always in the same chapter as "cellphone guy."
Occurrences: Ch2, Ch4, Ch6, Ch12

Space Knights Saga
These are interactions only Jaren has. Each time, you have to use his cellphone on a person to get their Space Knights ID.
Occurrences: Ch4, Ch7, Ch11
Chapter 1
Chapter 1
• Talk to the plants next to the recycling and trash can. Exhaust dialogue before moving on.

• Go all the way to the right after going in the Fellini Café to find and examine the bunny plushie under one of the umbrellas/parasols.
• While you’re there, pick up the water bottle from the other table without an umbrella/parasol.
• Talk to each of the customers and see what they want. Jaren is a freebie.
-- Regardless of what dialogue you choose with “Jock” (muscular guy with tattoo), he’ll eventually leave.
-- The lady with the blue outfit wants creamer. It’s on the right, upper side of the café. Before giving it to her though, go out and give some to the guy sitting on the sidewalk (Cream of the Crop achievement). Give the creamer to the lady in blue, then put it back where you got it from (I’ll Take My Coffee Black achievement).

-- Let the “trucker” use your cellphone to call his girlfriend.
-- The woman in a pink bunny shirt, named Grace, needs change. Do not recycle and talk to the hippie until the Shortchanged achievement is gotten. Ask the following people about spare change: Kade (Rinden’s colleague), the old couple on the bench, the cyclist couple, and the hipster group. Then, check the small coin near the bus stop (Shortchanged achievement). Now, go ahead and recycle the plastic bottle, then talk to the “hippie” again for the change needed.
• Talking to Holland (the barista) wraps up the chapter, so be sure to examine things or explore (if you want to) before doing so.
Chapter 2
Chapter 2
• Once you’ve got control of Ana, go over to the big display sign in front of the festival and use the pamphlet on it (Hello Papa achievement).

• Then, go all the way to the right on the sidewalk to find a bunny plushie and examine it.

• Go to four booths with just Ana for the Soliteary achievement. They’re Matcha Madness, Probio Bactea, Tea Beans, & T Time. Lost Valley Tea opens up afterward.
• While you’re near the T Time table, listen in on the man on his cellphone until the dialogue is exhausted.
• Before going to Lost Valley Tea, talk to the "history buff" next to the booth.
• After the scene at the Lost Valley Tea booth and you’re joined up with Jaren, talk to him until the dialogue is exhausted for the Flirtatious! achievement.
• Visiting every booth (with the exception of Lost Valley Tea) with Jaren ends the chapter, so be sure to examine things or explore (if you want) before then.
Chapter 3
Chapter 3
• Talk to the future hipsters next to the statue, then talk to the old couple on the bench (to the north). Keep talking to them until the dialogue option “Ask the couple to move to the statue” comes up and select it.
• Go to the southeast of the map to come upon Milo with his camera and a scene will autoplay. After, talk to the dog, then talk to Milo. Talk to him again and select “Ask about the dog.”
• Talk to Peanut. Play fetch with him five times for the Dog Friendly achievement. Then, take the ball from him again.
• With the ball, go to the statue and throw it at it (by using the ball from your inventory on it) for the Throwing Green achievement.
• Next, use the ball on the ducks to get them to move, then talk to the old couple again and ask them to move to the statue. Once they’re over at the statue, use the camera on them.
• Once the scene is over, go directly south from the statue. Examine the ground where a bench use to be. Then, keep going south to see a “gardener” on a stepladder. Talk to him.

• Go directly left from the “gardener” to find another bunny plushie and be sure to examine it.

• From there, head directly north until you come to the community garden. Take the red flowers.
• Next, go outside the fence of the community garden and talk to the shrub in the upper-left corner. Use your camera on it! Then, talk to it again.

• Now, go back to the area with the “gardener” and talk to the woman on the blanket. Then, use the flowers on her.
• Talk to the “gardener” and “thank him for the picknicking woman.” Steal that ladder after.
• Use the ladder on the ground where the bench use to be.

• Lastly, go talk to Milo to finish the chapter. “Ask Milo if he’s decided to help with the probject.” After you’ve shown him the picture, go over to the statue and get on the stepladder. To do so, you weirdly have to use your camera on it.
Chapter 4
Chapter 4
• Once you’ve got control of Jaren, go directly left to the geek couple and overhear all their dialogue until the Geeks-dropping achievement pops.

• Outside the game store, to the right, is “cellphone guy”. Eavesdrop on him until the dialogue is exhausted.
• Next, talk to the “old man” on the bench to the right of “cellphone guy.” Use the receipt on him.
• Optional: Rinden is to the right of the “old man” if you want to talk to him for extra story connection.
• Directly south of the “old man” is a woman with glasses, talk to her. Ask her about her glasses.
• Go the right of the woman with the glasses to find the “trucker.” Examine the logo on his truck, then talk to him. Ask about the logo. Use the receipt on him.
• To the north of the “trucker” is the “history buff" again. Talk to him.
• Go far to the left of the map to find a bunny plushie and examine it.
• Then, go up to the trash can between ElectriCity and Books Galore to find the receipt the woman wanted.
• Go into ElectriCity and talk to the “Help Desk” guy and ask about a dolly.
• To find the food truck, go back to where “cellphone guy” and the “old man” on the bench are, then go slightly north. Talk to food truck guy. Then, talk to each of the three customers standing near the truck. Talk to the food truck guy again and the correct answer is the one that ends with “no beans.” The Keeping Order achievement should pop.

• Go back to the “Help Desk” guy to give him his burrito in exchange for the dolly. Before leaving ElectriCity, use your cellphone on the “Help Desk” guy to get his Space Knights ID.
• Go back to the woman with the glasses, use her pre-order receipt on her. Then, go to GamerForge and use the pre-order receipt on Oscar. Go back to glasses woman and use the game on her.
• Next, go back to the “old man” and use the glasses on him. Then, use the receipt on him.
• After the “old man” translates the receipt, go back to the woman you got the glasses from and return them for the Good Optics achievement.
• Lastly, use the dolly on the “trucker.” Despite Jaren still having the dolly after the scene, it goes to the next chapter. I guess the assumption is that he returns it “off screen.”
Chapter 5
Chapter 5
• Once you’ve got control of Mara, talk to Chai (the dog) to acknowledge that she needs a bone to be quiet.

• Next, two doors down, is Jade. If you ask her about Chai’s bone, she’ll reveal that Lars can give you the key to Sam’s office. Ask about the presentation notes as well.
• You can backtrack now or later to get those presentation notes in Mara’s office.
• Next, talk to Tod (next to Jade’s office). Talk about the thermostat.
• South of Tod’s office is Andy’s desk, which has a “Snuggly” on it, but Mara won’t take it without his permission. To the right of that is a bunny plushie, be sure to examine it.

• Going out to the lobby (to the far left) triggers a scene. Then, talk to Lars and “ask about the spare key to Samuel’s office.”
• After, go to the plant in the lobby and examine it until all the dialogue is exhausted.

• Going back to the right, Andy is now at his desk. Ask about the “Snuggly” and he’ll complain about Tod getting germs all over it.
• Use the key on Sam’s office. Pick up the bone and give it to Chai.

• In the room south of the dog is where the projector is. Examine it.

• Return to Andy to convince him to let Mara borrow the “Snuggly” for Tod.
• Go to Tod’s office and use the “Snuggly” on him.
• Return to Jade and talk to her. “Ask to borrow the extension cord.”
• Before going to the projector, go back to the room where the bunny plushie was and use the extension cord on the printer in there for the PC Load Letter achievement. Interact with the printer again to “take the cord back.”

• Head back to the projector and use the extension cord on it.
• Go to the lobby for a scene, then back to the projector to conclude the chapter.
Chapter 6
Chapter 6
• Once you’ve got control of Bia, go directly right to examine the bunny plushie.
DO NOT TALK TO THE SLEEPING VENDOR YET or you’ll miss an achievement.
• "History buff" is at the ticket booth, be sure to talk to him.
• Next, talk to “Guitarist” which is presumably the “hippie” from the present. Use the tickets Jodie gave Bia on him.
• Left from the “Guitarist” is a food truck. Interact with the “Taco Train Cashier”. Use the money you got from the “Guitarist” on him to get the burrito.
• While you’re near the food truck, interact with “Cellphone Guy” until all the dialogue is exhausted.
• Next, talk to Oscar in the red shirt.
• Go back inside the theater to talk to the sleeping vendor. Because you have the burrito already with you, the Food Prep achievement should pop.
• Go all the way to the right inside the theater and talk to the woman holding a purple wizard hat. Then, return to the previously sleeping vendor and ask to buy a “Adventures of Kevin” hat. Return to the woman with the purple wizard hat and use the blue wizard hat on her, then go back to Oscar. Use the purple hat him.
• Heading back up to the theater triggers a scene and the end of the chapter.
Chapter 7
Chapter 7
• Examine the pagoda building until the dialogue is exhausted and the Mystery of the Pagoda achievement pops up. (Sorry for the typo in the image.)
• To the right of the pagoda is a bunny plushie. Examine it.
• The ramen shop is to the left. Upon going inside, examine the “Hall of Fame” behind the cashier. Use your phone on it to get a picture of Ana in your inventory.
• Further up in the ramen shop is a screen. Go behind it and go right until the examine icon comes up, then interact with it. The achievement A Man Behind A Curtain will pop up.

• Leave the ramen shop and go down the street to the right to Yamamoto Tea. Talk to the person in lavender near the counter. Accept the offer of free tea. After that, use your phone on them to get their Space Knights ID.

• Next, go to B. B. Bunny to the left. Head up to the checkout counter and talk to Devon. Show her the picture of Ana.

• Go to Kyoto Goods and talk to the cashier named Lance. Talk to him again and “ask about Devon.”

• Go back to the ramen shop and talk to the guy behind the counter to ask to “take the Spicy Ramen Challenge.” Because you have the free milk tea, you should get the That’s A Spicy Ramen achievement.
• Go back to Kyoto Goods and use the certificate on the manager.

• Return to B. B. Bunny and tell Devon that you succeeded in driving the manager away.
• Going to Yamamoto Tea and talking to the tea server again will complete the chapter, so be sure to do any exploring you’d like before then.
Chapter 8
Chapter 8
• Once you’re in control of Bia, go to the left into the kitchen to find a bunny plushie on the table. Examine it.

• Go back toward Milo and into the room to the right of him. Talk to Taylor. Ask her to be in the picture. Go back to Milo and ask for a copy of the documentary.

• After going upstairs, examine the doors to the balcony to discover Jodie and Charlotte are stuck on it. The ladder is to the north, but you can’t obtain it yet. Go to Milo’s room and get the documentary from his desk.

• Return to the room with Taylor and use the documentary on the TV. Talk to Taylor. After Taylor leaves, interact with the TV to change it back to music for the Bring Back the Music achievement.
• Head to the backyard. (Mara is out there, if you want to talk to her, but it’s optional.) Talk to Lars at the grill. Ask about the group photo.
• Next, talk to Matt, who is standing next to Taylor now. “Ask to borrow Matt’s phone.”
• Go back inside the house. North of Milo is the laundry room. Interact with the laundry basket to retrieve Lars’s phone.

• Go back to Lars and use the orange phone on him.
• Go south and out of the fence, then left to the front of the house. To the right of the garage is an area just below the patio/balcony that Jodie and Charlotte are on. Examine it.
• Go inside the house, up the stairs, and into the hallway with all the plants and interact with the ladder to obtain it.

• Then, go all the way back to the previous area near the garage and use the ladder on it. Interact with the newly placed ladder to climb it. Talk to Jodie and Charlotte. Interact with the ladder again to climb down.
• Go back inside the house and talk to Milo to finish the chapter.
Chapter 9
Chapter 9
If you try to have Rinden go further into the restaurant, he’ll remark on how he needs a disguise, so that’s the objective here.
• Go the northeast area of the restaurant and talk to the old man with blue hair. Ask about his son.

• Go back toward the entrance, slide behind the wooden panel, and talk to the blue-haired guy with sunglasses. Don’t select any other options yet. Select “offer to buy him a drink” first.
• Go to the bar and order a whiskey, then return to the blue-haired guy with sunglasses. Use the drink on him. This’ll get you the On the Rocks achievement.
• If you tell him about his dad, he just thinks Rinden is hitting on him, so use the photo on him.
• After the scene, go back to where “Zachary” was sitting and examine the bunny plushie.
• Talk to the woman next to the bar. The correct answer is “ship chandler” for the Art History 101 achievement.

• Next, talk to the guy with the fedora at the bar. Talk to him again and “introduce to teacher.”

• Try going further into the restaurant and Rinden will still want more of a disguise. Go back to the bar and talk to the bartender.
• To the left side of the restaurant and talk to the blond lady sitting by herself. (Note: Holland is at the table below her and, uh, interesting dialogue happens if you talk to her.) Talk to the blond sales lady again and “ask for energy drink.”

• Return to the bartender and use the energy drink on him. Deliver the drink to the guy you got the fedora from. Return to the bartender again and get the last bit of disguise.
• Talking to Bia – Rinden’s blind date – will trigger a scene and the end of the chapter.
Chapter 10
Chapter 10
• Behind Milo, on his red bookshelf, interact with the picture to add it to your inventory.
• Examine the area at the end of the hallway with all the plants and Milo will acknowledge he needs a ladder.

• Go outside and to the left to find the bunny plushie next to the garage.

• Next, go to the backyard to find the ladder.
• Go back inside the house, up the stairs, and to the end of the hallway with the plants, and use the ladder on that area. Interact with the ladder to climb it.
• Examine misc boxes to acknowledge that Milo needs to talk to his housemates. Then, interact with the Stacie box to acknowledge that he needs a garbage bag.

• Head downstairs and into the kitchen. Talk to Taylor. “Chit-Chat” with her to indirectly ask about the paint on her nose.
• Interact with the sink area to obtain a garbage bag.

• Next, visit Jodie in the laundry room. “Ask about college box.” Then, “Ask about Lars and Taylor incident.”

• Visit Lars in the TV room and “ask about the Taylor incident.” Then, “Q-Tips?” Also, “ask about the college box.”
• Return to Jodie and ask “Q-Tips?” She spill the gossip and the Q-Tips achievement should pop.
• Go back upstairs and to the attic. Examine Stacie’s box to retrieve the ticket stubs. Then, use the garbage bag on Stacie’s box. Go back to the kitchen and use the filled garbage bag on the garbage can. You should get the Goodbye, Stacie achievement. (Do any exploring you want to do before the next steps.)

• Finally, head back upstairs and into the attic to examine the college box on the left.
• When Milo tries to leave the attic, a scene will begin and the chapter will end.
Chapter 11
Chapter 11
• Immediately go inside the building. Jaren won’t shut up about Ana until you do.
• After the scene, go to the left to talk to the last plant for A Shrubbery! achievement. Make sure to talk to it enough times.

• Talk to a guy standing near a table with an umbrella/parasol. Then, keep going to the right to find his wallet just above a blue car. Return to the guy and use the wallet on him.

• Talk to the “hipster boi” on the left side of the map. The correct directions are “Between 8th and 9th street” for the Forging a Path achievement.

• When Jaren heads back in the other direction, a scene will trigger. He has to help Milo!
• Head to the area where you found the wallet and Milo will be standing there. Talk to him, of course. Next, examine his car’s trunk.

• Go slightly north to find a guy trimming a tree. Annoy him until the How’s the Weather? achievement pops up.

• Next, go all the way right to find the bunny plushie. Examine it.
• Go north from there to find Andy in the alleyway. “Ask to borrow tools.” Next, use your phone on him to talk about Space Knights. You should get the Space Knights Saga achievement.
(I'd like to note that Jaren got stuck behind the two chairs where Andy was standing during one of my playthroughs. Be careful when exploring there.)

• After the scene, it’s time to fix Milo’s flat tire.
-- Examine the flat tire to acknowledge that wedges are needed. Go back to the area with the talking shrub and collect the rocks that are there.
-- Go to the back tire and use the wedge rocks on it.
-- Use the lug wrench (L-shaped tool) on the flat tire to remove the hubcap.
-- Use the lug wrench again to loosen lug nuts.
-- Use the jack.
-- Use the lug wrench to remove lug nuts.
-- Interact with the flat tire to remove it.
-- With the flat tire, go to the trunk and interact with it to exchange it for the spare tire.
-- Interact with the front tire area to place the spare tire.
-- Use the lug nuts on the spare tire.
-- Interact with the jack to lower the car.
-- Use the lug wrench on the spare tire.
-- Interact with the jack again.
-- Use the hubcap on the spare tire.
-- Interact with the back tire to remove the wedges.
• Use the lug wrench and jack on Andy’s car’s trunk to put them back.
• Head back to the center of the map for the scene to trigger and the chapter to end.
Chapter 12
Chapter 12
This last chapter is filled with most of the characters encountered throughout the story. The game devs put themselves in here too. I highly recommend exploring and talking to people.
• Make your way to Rinden at the entrance of the restaurant. If you try going past Andy playing darts, it’ll deny Mara every time. You have to outside and around to get to the entrance.

• After the scene, go to the right to find both “Cellphone Guy” and “History Buff.” Be sure to talk to them both for the achievements: Sorry Dave and History Repeats Itself.

• South of the “History Buff” is a beach. There’s a plastic bottle to pick up there. There’s a recycling bin in front of the pub.

• Go all the way back to where Mara began in this chapter and talk to the pub’s bartender. Order curry chips/fries.
• Next, go to where Jodie and Charlotte are. “Ask to borrow fries.” Then, use the order number on them to obtain their fries.

• Go back inside and use the curry chips/fries on Jaren.

• Go to where the “History Buff” is and use the curry fries/chips on him.
• On the way to where the “hippie” is, stop by the cabin to examine the last bunny plushie for the Hop To It achievement.

• Use the curry frips/chies on the “hippie” for the Fry Off The Old Block achievement.
• Return to Rinden and the seagull. Stand at the corner of the pier where Rinden is and the examine/interaction icons will appear with the seagull. Use the curry fries/chips on the seagull.
• Just slightly north from Rinden is a blue container with a net in it. Interact with it to obtain the net. Return to the seagull and use the net on it.
• Follow Rinden up the pier (near the “hippie”) and walk to the corner to put the seagull in view. Use the curry fries/chips on it again.

• Go north and talk to the “hippie” again.
• Go all the way back inside the pub and up to the bartender again. “Ask about the owner of the boat.”
• Talk to the “hippie” again. At first, it’ll seem like the dialogue is the same, but it changes at the end. After obtaining the keys, “ask about the telescope.” Then, “ask to borrow change.”
• Rinden is over by the boat. Use the spare change on him in order to use the telescope and get the Some Things Never Change achievement. You have to interact with the telescope again to trigger the scene and the achievement.
• After the scene, go back to where the boat is and talk to Rinden. The scripting is weird here, as Rinden talks as though he doesn’t know who the boat owner is. Show him the keys to board the boat.
• Interact with the boat’s engine, then use the NanoVolt tech on it.

• Walk up to the buoy and interact with the seagull.

I hope you enjoy the ending as much as I did! Be sure to keep watching after the credits for epilogues!
