I think there's a popup that warns you about this feature when you open the game.
Sometimes games don't really explain their mechanics and that reduce the fun sometimes.
On my first playthrough, for example, I literally had no idea that the chainsaw even had a charged attack but after learning how to use it properly my goodness it was satisfying to pull off.
This game is definitely more enjoyable when played in the right way so I felt it was my duty to spread some neat info.
Also, thanks for the heads up.
well thats pretty much all i have to say, again, thank you for posting this since, like i said, it was fun learning more about one of my favorate games

Now onto some of my thoughts
First, the serums. now i know i should just go for the level 1 serum instead of the more powerful serums, if i knew this when i replayed the game i wouldn't have wasted my time trying to get the powerful serums.
Second is that the shotgun has, well, shotgun physics meaning i have to be at a curtain range to deal massive damage, its a good thing i know this since i always thought the shotgun was just a fixed range like in the first game, also you spelled shotgun as "SHhotgun" in the shotgun section. its not a complaint i just thought it was funny.
