Introduction
Curse of the dead gods is a game developed by Passtech Games, an independant video game studio based in Lyon, France.
My guide is inspired by the one done by the website neoseeker, see link at the end. I do not work with them or for them. I like what they did, I wanted to add upon it from my own experience with the game and since there was no guide on Steam about achievements, I decided to make one.


Avidity

Defeat the Dark Avatar of the Serpent

This achievement requires that you reach the last Level of the Serpent Temple and beat its Final Boss.

Awareness

Defeat Xucat', the Witch

Xucat is the first Champion you'll encounter in the Serpent Temple.

Belief
Unlock a Blessing of the Dead Gods

You'll need to perform at least a single run in which you obtain Crystal Skulls by defeating Enemies, and when you return to the game's main hub, interact with the circular stone tile that's in the floor to open the upgrade menu. Once there, just navigate to the 'Blessings' tab and you'll be able to purchase whichever you wish.
Clairvoyance
Complete any exploration with 50 or more Perception

You'll need to collect a certain amount of upgraded Relics, Weapons and go through enough Attribute Rooms so that you get your Perception to reach at least 50 points. Never forget the objective you've got and don't spend on items and upgrades that won't help you achieve this!
An easy way to do it is to use the Sich'al's Treasures blessings
Collection
Unlock 20 Forsaken Weapons

This works similarly to the Belief Achievement - though you'll depend in another sort of currency. This time, you'll have to collect Jade Rings, which are given after beating Champions or Bosses, and once you're back in the game's hub, use them to purchase Forsaken Weapons through the tab of the same name in the 'upgrades' menu.
Cruelty
Defeat the Dark Avatar of the Jaguar

This achievement requires that you reach the last Level of the Jaguar Temple and beat its Final Boss.

Curiosity
Start a "Special Events"

Though we haven't covered since they don't have to do with the game's main story, "Special Events" are funny challenging scenarios with decent rewards the game let's you take on. You can select them from the very same place in which you access the temple - they'll be in the very bottom of the map. Good luck!
Depravity
Defeat Ratyapu, the Abomination

Ratyapu can be found in the second level of the Serpent Temple onwards.

Devotion
Unlock 20 Blessings of the Dead Gods

Pretty self explanatory.
Diligence
Complete 10 different "Special Events"

As you go on completing these "Special Events", new will appear. Your objective, as you know, will be to successfully complete ten different ones.
You can do Duplicate events, for example I did the Curse archer twice

**Warning if you die or leave the game midway through you will fail the event**
Essay
Write 5 Bestiary entries

Entries in the Bestiary are written as you beat certain amounts of the same Enemy. So the best way to complete 5 different Bestiary entries as fast as possible is to keep doing the same level after you've reached said thresholds.
Otherwise, just relax and keep playing the game. This achievement shall come soon enough.
Exhumation
Unlock 5 Forsaken Weapons

This works similarly to the Belief Achievement - though you'll depend in another sort of currency. This time, you'll have to collect Jade Rings, which are given after beating Champions or Bosses, and once you're back in the game's hub, use them to purchase Forsaken Weapons through the tab of the same name in the 'upgrades' menu.
Greed
Achieve a x10 "Greed Kill" series

This will be achieved best through upgraded Weapons that enable for fast combos. With one of those equipped, you shouldn't have no issue defeating 10 different enemies before your Greed Counter empties up.
An easy way to do it is to use the Reptilian Hunger blessing. It will allow your greed kill count to never run out out of combat and does not reset between rooms.
Initiation
Complete the room of Trials

Basically, complete the game's tutorial. All that needs to be done is do what the game tells you to do. That's it.
Insanity
Make 10 Blood Offerings during a single exploration

Every time you encounter a monolyth in which you can purchase Attributes, Upgrades, Weapons or Relics, pay with Corruption - that is what a 'Blood Offering' is. In order to get 10 chances at this, you'll have to attempt this at larger levels, so from level 2 onwards only.
Invention
Defeat Malok paal, the Flesh Monstrosity

Malok Paal is an Eagle Temple Champion, found from its second level onwards. You can read strategy tips regarding his battle by clicking here.

Invulnerability
Complete any exploration with 50 or more Constitution

You'll need to collect a certain amount of upgraded Relics, Weapons and go through enough Attribute Rooms so that you get your Constitution to reach at least 50 points. Never forget the objective you've got and don't spend on items and upgrades that won't help you achieve this!
An easy way to do it is to use T'amok's Bones blessing. In the first room, lower your HP below 50% of is maximum. The more constitution you will get, the higher the 50% threshold will be, making it even easier.
Memoirs
Write all Bestiary entries with their complete sketches

Entries in the Bestiary are written as you beat certain amounts of the same Enemy. In addition, sketches are completed by achieving the same but with Elite variants, or other specific requirements you can read in their main pages, in the case of the last level entries.

This is the probably the hardest and the most time consuming achievement of this game. As of today no one has been able to do it, based on the achievement leaderboard on Steam.
Nobility
Defeat K'ax taca, High Lord of the Storm

K'ax taca, High Lord of the Storm is the first Champion you encounter in the Eagle Temple. So sooner or later, you're poised to unlock this achievement.

Omnipotence
Complete any exploration with 50 or more Dexterity

You'll need to collect a certain amount of upgraded Relics, Weapons and go through enough Attribute Rooms so that you get your Dexterity to reach at least 50 points. Never forget the objective you've got and don't spend on items and upgrades that won't help you achieve this!
An easy way to do it is to use the Grace of the tempest blessing. Take your time, hit only when it is safe to do so and make sure to always have 1 point of stamina left over for a quick dodge if needed.

Relief
Lift the Final Curse

By "Final Curse", this description is referring to Xbeltz'aloc's Truth, which is given to you once you've accumulated 500 Corruptions and reached your fifth and final Curse. To be able lift a Corruption, you'll have to beat a Mid-Stage Champion. So you'll have to quickly accumulate Curses on purpose before them, then beat them. Sounds easy, except for the fact that this "Final Curse" slowly drains your HP until it's just a single unit.
Restoration
Unlock all Weapon Altars Upgrades

We've explained this in our Weapon Unlocking section of our Weapons Guide and List. Basically, one of the upgrades you can perform is enabling 'Weapon Altars', which give you different weapons than your basic ones before you go on a run. In addition, these are upgradable, so that they offer different Classes of Weapons at better rarity - what you'll need to do is unlock all the 'Altars' first, then spend several thousands of your Crystal Skulls in upgrading Weapon Rarity chances.
Strength
Defeat Xak'olchir, the Blood Hunter

Given that he's the first Champion that appears in the Jaguar Temple, Xak'olchir is probably the first one you ever even battle!

Toughness
Defeat Litz & Nepac, the Cursed Twins

Litz & Nepac are the second set of Champions you find in the Jaguar Temple (so from it's second level onwards).

Vanity
Defeat the Dark Avatar of the Eagle

This achievement requires that you reach the last Level of the Eagle Temple and beat its Final Boss.

Deception [Hidden]
Defeat Clovis Pardieux, Champion of Death

Clovis Pardieux is the Final Boss of the Normal Exploration mode. To get to him, not only you have to have completed all previous three temples, but go through a whole new level before even being able to challenge him.

Deliverance [Hidden]
Become the new Champion of Death

To unlock this achievement you need to complete both the Normal and Hard Exploration Modes.


Mastery [Hidden]
Get 3 successful Parries in less than 2 seconds

This is best achievable against multi hit Enemy attacks, like spins and the like. And, well, good luck at it, because it'll solely rely on your correct timing.
Personally, I did against the cursed Twins, more precisely with Nepac the Dark sister. She have a slash attack that does four consecutive hit. So equip a shield with an automatic parry, do your best to parry her attacks and hope that the shield will trigger if you miss one

Power [Hidden]
Equip a hidden Champion Weapon

Champion Weapons have a slight chance to dropped by Champions as long as you beat them while fulfilling different conditions. See table below to know how to get them:

You need to inflict the fatal blow to K'ax Taca while he is attacking with his laser/lightning beam.

You need to perform 5 perfect dodges when he dashes.
Xucat
"K'etyaam yaan", Witch's Crook
Xucat has to be beaten while on Fire
Ratyapu
"Disembowler", Dread Claw
Ratyapu has to be beaten while on Weakened
Temptation [Hidden]
Equip all three Weapons slots with Cursed Weapons

The Weapons that we've highlighted in our Weapons List are the Cursed Weapons - very special weapons that are pretty rare. Luckily, once you've found them at least once, you'll be able to unlock them through the Forsaken Weaponry shop, which will make it more likely for them to appear. Then, it's just a matter of being very lucky and finding a Weapon that fits each Weapon Class in the same run, and being able to equip them all too, nonetheless. Good luck!

Final thoughts
Curse of the dead gods is a hard game. Don't give up and you will eventually get better at it.

For Temptation I Got Lucky With 2 Cursed Weapons In Weapon Altars And The Last One I Found During A Run Is A Sub Weapon Like A Shield :tso7_Deron:

I have a question. In the curiosity achievement I have managed to finish ten events but I have not achieved the achievement. Does it have to be ten different events?

I have another question, the event of death and the eagle, is there an easier way to do it?

For the Parry (Mastery ach.), you can also do it in the very first room of the very first Jaguar Temple. The trick is to be surrounded by 2 of each mobs (2 or more lurkers and 2 death wifes). You may have to wait or parry attacks for 1 or 2 minutes but after a while, the purple orbs will be synchonised with at least one lurkers and EZGG !

Currently there is 0.1% who has Memoirs achivments so that might be as low as 1 player lol, im currently playing and luving the game, maybe i can be Mr 0.2%. Great Guide btw, good work!

From my understanding, "Desecrate" refers to the option where you pay nothing to the tomb, and gain the most negative effect. You need to do this with all three in one run. There is 3 tombs to interact with before fighting Clovis.

Fantastic guide OP.
I have a question: If you go to Codex => bestiary => Pantheon, in the page about Xbeltz'aloc, the god of Death, it said the main objective for his entry requires desecrating all 3 tombs of the gods in a single exploration. Any idea what this "desecrating" is or what these tombs look like? the Wiki does not mention anything about this desecration.
