How Many Times Have You Died? (Death Counter)
By Sloaks
Hi all,
Dark Souls II has a built in death counter but Dark Souls 1 has not, Never fear i found this handy online tool called 'Dark Souls Deaths' to upload your save and it will tell you how many times you have died on each of your playthroughs and more.

Give it a try and if you like it give it a thumbs up :D

Praise the sun!!

My OLDEST character, with over 800 hrs of play time, hundreds of invasions, thousands of invaders, 2042 deaths.

I finished the game and now on my second playthrough I just have the Four Kings to go before Gwyn. 1,419 deaths. This doesn't seem right. It feels like I'd died tens of thousands of times. My first time beating Ornstein and Smough alone took weeks and weeks of coming back having a few more attempts each sitting to avoid rage quitting the whole game.

It seems to be broken.

A problem occurred in a Python script.

/home2/darksou1/cgi_error_logs/tmp8f5C31.html contains the description of this error.

289 with 40% through NG+. Embarassingly, probably over half are deaths from falling and doing stupid shit and 50 or so are from Ornstein and Smough...I know, I suck at this game lol.
