Why does Rust take so long to load the servers?

Don't like waiting? Don't understand why Rust takes so long to load servers? After all, objectively, the time interval between getting to the main menu and the start of a full-fledged game is far from small. The problem is as follows: there is a 95% chance that your computer is outdated. More precisely, one part in it needs to be replaced with a more modern analog. It's a hard drive. People who know a little about the device of a computer will immediately understand what it is. For the rest, I explain. This device is responsible for storing, reading and writing any information on the computer. Intuitively, when a program (game) is running, the computer needs to read (process) a large amount of information.

What do you think, in which case the result of the program is achieved faster? If the read happens at 250 megabytes per second or 550? Of course, in the second case, any calculation will be twice as fast.

Now about your problem. If Rust takes a long time to load the servers on your computer, then most likely you have a regular HDD hard drive. It provides a read speed of up to two hundred and fifty megabytes per second. That's why you wait for hours for the world to load. To speed up this tedious process to a couple of minutes, I recommend buying and installing an SSD drive. Its price is within a hundred dollars, and it works 2-3 times faster than a regular hard drive. In my personal experience, such a computer upgrade really works. While my friends waited for the download to finish for a quarter of an hour, I was already in the game in a matter of minutes.
Other reasons

At the beginning, I pointed out that Rust is 95% likely to load servers for a long time, but where is the other five percent? You may already have an SSD, but the problem has not been resolved. Then the question is the following. Is there only an SS man in the computer, or is there a hard drive there as well? The fact is that you could install the game on the HDD, and the operating system on the SSD. At an accelerated rate, only files located directly on the drive are read, and not on all storage media in the computer. Reinstall the game on the SSD if possible and fix the problem.

I do not exclude that the long loading of Rust is due to the poor quality of the Internet connection. This reason is easy to identify. If during the game or surfing the network, there are periodic freezes, freeze lags, then solve the problem with the network. Call your provider and ask what you can do about it.

It's even more unlikely that your computer simply doesn't have enough RAM. This is also a board that needs to be replaced. For a smooth game in Rust, so that there are no sudden crashes during loading and brakes during the game, I recommend installing at least 16 GB of RAM in your computer.

I do not advise you to carry out all the processes of modernizing your computer yourself. Contact smart friends or computer services. Carrying out an upgrade with your own hands, and without the appropriate experience, you can break your computer or buy those parts that do not suit you, that is, the money will be wasted.
