Picking Luxembourg
So you want to play Luxembourg huh?
Of course you do, it's a regional power and can conquer over half of Europe by 1917! But you may ask, how do I even begin playing as Luxembourg? Well do not worry, I can show you right here and now! Well first of all you want to start up the game of course, and not launch any of those other bad games like insert popular game. Once you start it up you can see the glory of the main menu, there you will see 6 options, pick the first one that reads "Single Player".

Selecting your scenario
Probably the hardest part of this guide is picking the scenario you want to play in. Personally I would choose 1918 as I do with most nations I want to play, but just because Luxembourg is no where to be found, we will have to choose 1912. The only problem is finding the scenario, it should be easy enough you would so think but the developer of MAKING HISTORY THE FIRST WORLD WAR decided to make the most confusing menu navigation on this screen some how. So first you're going to want to press the ~ key on your keyboard to bring up the console command menu, then you want to type in "sv_menu_1912_sd 1", after you type it hit "enter" on your keyboard, which should not give you any errors, (if it does that means you typed it wrong so be careful!!!)

After that you will want to type "menu_active_1912" and again hit enter, afterwards it will begin to load the scenario's nation select.
FINALLY, YOU GET TO CHOOSE LUXEMBOURG!
After you have done the steps in the last section you will be presented with the terrifying screen of the nation select. Do not worry, it is very simple! First you want to grab your mouse, (or touch your mouse pad if you hate yourself) and slowly drag it to the other nations tab which is located in the bottom right of the screen with what seems to be dark blue/blackish and grey colors. You then want to activate your brain if you haven't already and send a direct message to your finger to move up then down in a high velocity in order to select it. After you have done that you will be presented with a bunch of terrible countries that we will not be picking, which range from A-Z. These terrible nations are: Abyssinia, Albania Nationalists, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Colorados, Costa Rica, Denmark, Dervish State, Dominion of Newfoundland, Ecuador, El Salvador, Emirate of Jabal Shammar, Emirate of Nejd, Greece, Guatemala, Haiti, Japan, Kingdom of Bulgaria, Kingdom of Romania, Kingdom of Serbia, Kingdom of Siam, Kingdom of Spain, Liberia, Mexico, Monten*gro, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Persia, Peru, Republic of China, State of Mongolia, Sweden, Switzerland, Tibet, Union of South Africa, Uruguay, Uryankhay Republic, and Poor South American Country. But you're here to play Luxembourg not any of these "countries". So scroll down to the "L's" so you can find Luxembourg, which is located right next to Liberia, which remained neutral during World War I until 1917, when it declared war on the German Empire just so they can get to sit Versailles peace conference and become a founding members of the League of Nations. Anyway, once you click "Luxembourg" you will be taken back to the previous menu you were in, you will of course want to press play.

Good job, you have selected Luxembourg, your family would be proud!
Conclusion
If you've followed all the steps in this guide, you're on your way to becoming a great power and conquering all of Europe. I'm honestly surprised if you don't because playing as Luxembourg is like playing on easy mode. Anyway if I forgot any steps please let me know, I would hate it for others to be stuck because of my own mistakes! Have fun!
