First of all...
Chinese player, sorry for my English.

Be started the game for the first time after purchasing the game, a photosensitive epilepsy warning screen appeared. Any button on keyboard or controller cannot skip it. I searched all the internet and no one article can solve my problem, so I wrote a guide as a reference.

If you find that this guide does not contain your problem, leave a message below. We can solve it together and continue to improve this guide.
Self-help troubleshooting...
The location of the log file of the game program:

C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Super Scary Snakes\Black Future '88\output_log.txt

Check this file to determine whether there is a problem with the game running. The content of the file will be regenerated every time you restart the game, so if you want to save it, you need to copy it.
Time zone issues...
  • simply put
For immersion, the game uses the execution steps of detecting system time zone -> setting game language -> loading game content. My coding Lv. is -20 and I cannot debug it. Can only guess because there are problems with some time zones, can't set language correctly, and causes the game to be stuck and unable to respond.

  • Solution
Shutdown the game, switch the system time zone to another time zone (for example, UTC-06:00). Launch game, should be launched in English. Enter the main menu for normal operation, select SETTINGS-LANGUAGE, switch left and right to find your applicable language, and then end the game. Change the system time zone to the normal time zone, and restart the game, everything is normal.

  • Problem check
Check whether the following content exists in your log file:
InvalidTimeZoneException: Exception of type 'System.InvalidTimeZoneException' was thrown.
P.S.
Leave a message below this guide to briefly describe your problem. I will take the initiative to contact you to help you try to solve possible problems, but my coding Lv. is not strong enough to solve all problems. I can only say that I try my best.

This guide is original, please communicate with me in advance for reprinting. I cannot tolerate reprinting without permission.

Have you try another controller to play, I use XBOX ONE wireless controller and BETOP(BEITONG) ASURA3 to test, can't reproduce. Or you have wrong Steam controller mapping? Maybe you can test your controller stick use like HardwareTester(online webpage), sry if its hardware problem I really can't help.

It's seems like it gets stuck in auto fire mode for no reason, I have to flick the analog stick to get him to stop firing. I tried adjusting my deadzones but it didn't help. If you can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
