Old World Armoury

Beskrivning
This mod is a cooperative mod with several modders, with BLACKEXCELLENCE, MobJay and Conqueror.

What is Old World Armoury:
Old World Armory is a mod that aims to make the game more immersive, giving units more armor appropriate for each culture.
This mod is a beta version, more content will coming. So several factions may change as we progress on the mod.


Required DLC: Deluxe Edition, Epirus content pack, Magna Graecia.


Faction Completed:
- Greeks: Argos, Elis, Rhodes, Massalia, Cyrenaica, Bosphorus, Ionia, Eloide, Theban, Beothian, Athens (levies), Epirus (levies), Megara, Delphi, Mantinea, Messenia, Halicarnasus, Eubea, Trebizond, Nesiotes League.

- Eastern: Armenia, Atropatea, Parthia, Pontos, Judea, Anatolia, Nabatea, Heraclea Pontica.

- Diadoch: Bactria, Cappadocia, Ptolemeic (levies), Seleucid (levies), Phrygia (levies), Macedonia (levies)

- Thracian: Thrace, Moessia, Ordyssia, Triballi, Bythinia and Mariandynia.

- Italian: Rome (levies), Etrusca, Samnites, Bruttinia, Lucania.

- Dacian: All dacian factions have the same units.

- Illyrian: All illyrian factions have the same units.

- Carthage.

- Britons: All Britons factions have the same units.

- Celtic: Arverni, Belgae, Gallic, Pannonians.

-Kushite.


(If you have a problem with the texture, please let us know. We will make sure to solve the problem.)

The Next Possible Changes:
- Re-texture shields and armor to create more diversity.

- Next Factions: More Greeks faction, Numidian, Babylonian (Tylos), Assyrian (Adiabene).

I'd like to suggest to add some other celtic tribes as well such as those in Germania and in Hispania.

I do not recommend installing this until it gets updated.
I started playing this with a run I was already doing on Invictus and the changes made to the cultures in the Celtic group broke one of my missions. I played for a few hours before noticing and realized this mod was what made the changes. There are missions which rely on the culture group of Boihaemia being Gallic. This mod changes their culture group to Galatean, thereby breaking the requirements of the mission and if you have the mission active (like I did), it will bypass the mission and leave you stuck with no way to complete it. Sadly I've wasted several hours now and have to redo my most recent play from that save.

i tested other greek minors like messenia and they all have problems. Messenian legion is the unit model not existing so the whole equipment is shown in the earth, even when moving.

With the last game maintaince update something went wrong. My argos legions have a silver men model under the armor.

This looks pretty cool. I am interested in it because it has special Judean model units. Your mod worked on my computer enough to change the graphics of the Judean soldier to match your screenshot preview.

Your Description says that the needed DLCs are:
- Deluxe Edition, Epirus content pack, Magna Graecia.

But the panel on the right says that you need the:
- Deluxe Edition, Punic Wars, and Magna Graecia DLCs.

The Steam Store page for the Delux Edition says:
"Imperator: Rome - Deluxe Edition Upgrade Pack is no longer available on the Steam store." What problems show up if you don't have this now-unavailable DLC?

I have the Punic Wars DLC, but not "Magna Graecia." How will it affect my game if I don't have the Magna Graecia DLC?

The Herod Mod says that it has new armor graphics too, BTW.

Hi, I'm currently working on a submod for Invictus that lets Byzantion form a Byzantine Empire.
I'd like to know if it's ok to use your unit graphics because i'd like to merge the design of units from Epirus and the Selucids to have this really cool looking swordsman with a nice helmet as the main gfx for the unique Byzantine Culture.
